Considering that this is a tourist area and this building is in the centre of the High Street it is a shame to see it looking so shabby. The council should be ashamed of itself. WH Smith in the High Street could use any paint you have left over. That is a shabby shop front if ever there was one.

Find the entrance to this stunning historical building. Beautiful panel lung and stained glass. Fascinating history. Wished we had time to visit the tearoom.

An amazing interior with much of historic interest. Quaint and cheap tea room. Great to wander or amuse the kids for half an hour. Send them Down!

I nearly didn't bother to go in, but I'm glad I did. There is some interesting things to see and read. The court cases are fascinating.
It only ask for a donation as admission is free.

Fascinating old building in the middle of the road. Unfortunately not open to look round (due to Covid), but nice to look at from the outside anyway.

Visited recently on a Saturday, market day. Plenty of stalls in High street and beneath the building.Situated in the middle of High Street, well worth a visit. Lovely meeting room and Council Chamber and dressing up clothes available for children to 'act the part' though some adults were doing so! Beautiful building, quaint and interesting. Would recommend visiting when in Bridgnorth.

This fine old building stands proud in the middle of town, it is in fine shape and has been well preserved. It was also the local court house in years past. You cant miss it.

This is a must see. My kids love going there to 'play prime ministers'! They live sitting in the chair in the court room. They did have some cards with old cases and the punishments given which were really interesting. There are often little trails for the children to look around and find things out. Lovely old photos of Bridgnorth too.
