This is a lovely place to visit. Take a picnic and sit by the lake or in the gardens. Nice walks, a cafe, shop and book shop. Garden opened at 12, the house at 1pm.

Is there a flower garden or is it mostly parkland?

Response from Nick D |
Although there is a lot of parkland, there is also a substantial garden with interesting planting including lots of flowers, particularly roses.
