If you are a history buff I would suggest you visit the castle as there is a lot of history attached. When Britain is in bloom the flowers are beautiful. There are brass bands at times, lovely walks and seating to soak up the atmosphere

Always visit the park here when in Bridgnorth. Wonderful views across the valley and lots of well maintained flower beds. Also the ruins of the old castle to see.

We came across this very imposing Monument on a walkabout in Bridgnorth, the Monument is in a lovely park and it looks out towards the famous `Severn Valley Railway` across the valley. We took many photographs of the Monument and also of the Railway from a great vista point just in front of the Monument.

I enjoyed this attraction as part of my visit to Bridgenorth. It is well worth parking in the low town and taking the funicular up to the old town and walking along the walls to this memorial. I have a particular interest in war memorials, and enjoyed this one set in a lovely and well kept park.

Especially poignant in these troubled days, made even more special being situated in such lovely peacful grounds.
Well worth a visit and perhaps take a seat like we did for a few minutes.

I was very impressed by these gardens. Very well kept and with a view across to the Severn Valley Railway. Worth the substantial climb up there.

A lovely warm Summer day, therefor the gardens were very busy with single people, friends and families all enjoying the well kept gardens and tranquility of the War Memorial. An area to enjoy where you can relax and sit on one of the many seats some of which have views over the far reaching hills.
