I think you have to be into birds really, they all looked like ducks to me except for the flamingos and cranes. We did have a great time on the rowing boats. But nothing besides Pokemon piqued my teenage sons interest. He's a bit too...More

Great day out with the kids, peaceful surroundings and love the Martin Mere "passport" for the kids to document their different activities

It was an enjoyable day out. You could hand feed the different species of birds and ducks. I was surprised how clean the paths were considering all the ducks and birds roaming freely. Plenty of seating around, if you wanted to take a rest. We...More

Visited here on our way back from Southport. We booked tickets online, on arrival were given a map and we brought seeds for £1 to feed the birds. Was great for my niece as there were lots of birds to be seen and they could...More

The Education Team really enhanced our visit. They were all great with the mixed ages in our group. The visit didn't only involve looking at live and lego creatures, but was a real back to nature experience. It reminded me of the freedom I had...More

I'm sorry but we do not allow children to ride bikes or scooters on the site due to the large number of ducks and geese roaming around the paths and also because any accidents may see a rider not just fall off their bike... More
