Although we walked on the bridge, it is better seen from the quayside. From the bridge (watch for cyclists and the occasional permitted vehicle) you get a good view up and down the river.

No apparent public access (except on limited dates for services) but in an interesting position in the middle of a very narrow bridge over the river, pedestrian access only.

A greatly historic bridge, now only suitable for pedestrians and with no through-traffic, offering views along the embankment and of the Great River Ouse. Highly picturesque especially in the summer months.

So nice to see an old bridge being well protected and keeping cars and vehicles off it. A very interesting piece of old engineering
