I was cycling from Santa Maria, Switzerland to Sondrio,Italy. I have to say what a wonderful experience, it was a tough journey climbing the 48 hairpins of the Stelvio, but then the descents to Bormio are just amazing how they make you fly and forget...More

If coming from Stelvio, it is a pleasure to ride over Umbrail (it only goes down). Not many traffic and beautiful nature. If hungry, I would recommend one of the restaurants in the valley in Sta. Maria

Another stunning pass with more than 34 hairpin turns and steep, narrow climbs. The views down to Santa Maria Val Mustair is beautiful. Overall a great motorcycle ride!

This excellent road to celebrate the joys of exploration and motoring will not leave you disappointed. If in a car be ready for the occasional queue of motor cyclists overtaking you but no one is in too much of a hurry!

This is really a great pass. This is so narrow that you can go perfect with a supermoto. I like the nothern ramp and the high valley. The pass itself is very close to the Passo di Stelvio.

We drove Umbrail on a long 7-passes trip. Umbrail was a little gem. Very narrow in the climbing phase from Val Müstair. Not really for race mode but easy going. Once beyond tree levels it becomes open and fast. Gentle curves, good overview and little...More

We drove the Umbrail Pass to get to the Stelvio pass accidentally. We have a motorhome 7.5 metres long and to be honest it was an interesting drive. Not to be undertaken by the faint hearted it requires 100% concentration and considerable luck that on...More
