My cycle required two new inner tubes front brake adjustment and a new tyre pump clip. Costa Blanca Bike Hire collected my cycle repaired the various problems and delivered back to me within 4 hours. Fantastic service very reasonably priced David was extremely helpful and a pleasure too meet. I will certainly use again and would highly recommend to anyone who needs to repair their bicycles.

David and his team provided us with exceptional service, over and above our expectations. We made initial contact from the uk by e-mail to see if they had hybrid bikes available as per our preference. They did (not listed on their website so if you have specific requests I suggest that you contact David directly; he really couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating) and on the required day he brought 4 bikes along to our villa in Villamartin for us to chose from. The bikes worked well for us but unfortunately in week 3 the rear wheel bearing failed on one of the two bikes that we hired (simple mechanical failure due to wear and tear). David got to us within the hour with a replacement bike but as we really liked the original bike David and his team got the wheel bearing replaced and the original bike returned to us within 48 hours. As it was a simple wear and tear issue there was no charge to us for the repair so I question the negative review from a previous reviewer on his experience - David could not have been fairer or more efficient in resolving the issue than he was. From our experience in hiring two bikes for five weeks with this company I cannot speak too highly of them. Customer experience from our viewpoint was really excellent. We will be using Costa Blanca Bike Hire again with no doubt. Thanks to David and his team from the both of us.

Rented a bike for 10 days. After 2 days it broke, and I got a new bike. That was nice. To be fair they started of with good service and a good tone. But don’t get fooled. If the bike you are renting get damaged they will call you later and make up a nonsense story about how it’s your fault. Then you will have to pay the price for repairing the bike. And I guess some extra, or else bike parts in Spain are the most expensive in Europe. They deliver bikes who are not cleaned in the way you would with your own bike. Old oil and grease combined with sand and dust on the roads is a really bad combination for the gearing system. But it makes the income bigger for this company, so don’t bother try to explain this. To be fair I would recommend using other companies if you would like using your money on other things than repairing their bikes.

With regard to this review, any of our customers, or 200 plus reviews will read it and dismiss the above statement that is not only inaccurate but contradicts itself. Customer, who stated he was a 'novice' road biker rider when he came to collect his clean, fully functioning WILIER ALUMINIUM ROADBIKE which he tested out on the road before signing our documentation, which includes a clause that states you are satisfied with ALL THE EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED ! It also states you are responsible for any DAMAGE to the BIKE AND EQUIPMENT SUPPLIED. The distorted, inaccurate, and offensive review was no doubt linked to the fact that the customer paid 60 euros towards the cost of the repair . . and we stress TOWARDS THE COST, not the FULL COST. Let us highlight this one statement that encapsulates the thought pattern of this individual . . . . . The last sentence of the customers 'review' we believe is a defamatory statement and will seek legal guidance regarding libel if kept in public view. We applaud constructive criticism as well as praise but this not a review it is in part a statement that suggests we openly defraud our customers in order to "make our income bigger". As the owner / founder of the Company I am very proud of our small but professional team who over the last 14 years have provided a service based on honesty and integrity, which we work hard to continue, if this customer had kept to the facts, we would not be making this response.
