The staff speaks Spanish, English and French, they are very nice and very professional! The kayak trip is just great and rather sporty for the less used to it. We can see the Medes islands from very close and swim in the turquoise waters.
I recommend kayaking un Estartit with Medaqua 👍✅😄

Very well organized tour with a good and knowledgeable guide. Group on boat was split into groups of 8 according to their languages. Unfortunately there were 6 men in our group and they all did not care about others whatsoever so we got kicked and hit a few times. After we chose to stay away from them, we enjoyed the snorkeling. There was way more to see than I expected and we even saw two scorpion fish and one grouper (they are big). We were in the water for about 1 hour. I would have liked to stay longer but all things come to an end. I recommend Medaqua as well as Illes Medes but would encourage them to make sure their customers are more respectful to another.

Kayak To Medes - Booking was simple, the meeting point was a little confusing- we followed the map which was correct luckily, the description sends you in the opposite direction!
Meeting point was obvious when everyone got there but would benefit from a sign.
Safety and technique talk was great, Lady was thorough.
Set off quickly with one guide at the front, she was friendly and helped with technique. Another guide at the back and a safety boat so great set up. Location and route was great. To be improved: one guide was quite friendly the other two never spoke and kept out of the way chatting and taking photos. Would be nice to hear about the Medes, animals, pirates, fish etc. Possibly take a few photos of couples and families on the trip who couldn’t take phones out on the water for a memory - airdrop back at the beach?

We have a great guide when doing the snorkeling at the islands that really put the emphasis in sharing her knowledge and showing all the diversity of plants and animals. Very nice and committed to make sure we have a great tiem.
In the base where you get the equipment, the team was also nice and give all the required gear.
The minus was because they told us to wait and then a person of the team just walked by us towards the boat without telling us to follow. We saw a group moving and we run to catch up. They never count or review the list so it gives the impression that they don't care if all the participants were following the leader towards the port. Then on the boat another team received us and they were really nice and give confidence.

Went snorkeling around Medes islands. Booked it via Get Your Guide. Problem is that you don't know with which local partner you'll end up. Excursion was supposed to start with a video about the islands, but that never happened. Guide was very annoying (macho clown) and of no use whatsoever. During snorkeling he never pointed out any place of interest, we were to find out on our own. This is not the first snorkeling trip we booked but definitely the worst. There are so many places in L'Estartit that offer this experience, so I would suggest to try another one, if you have the choice. As for the Medes Islands: went snorkeling off the shores of Tossa de Mar later on (for free) and saw more fish there.

If you have snorkeled other places in the world, this spot may disappoint you. The company was ok - broke the large group into smaller groups each with its own guide, but not much English expertise among them. Hard to see what the guide books say about the limited snorkeling around the islands - the place was a parking lot of boats. Our guide said it was a good day with lots of fish visible, but it did not compare to snorkeling we did in Hawaii and Israel.

We spent the day in l'estartit and the people at medaqua made it possible for my wife and seven year old to go snorkeling in safety with a qualified guide.
Very happy with the complete service , I would recommend it to my friends who go to costa brava

My husband and I took a trip with this company. We are both about 60 years young. The trip was well organised. Their guides were looking out for you all the time. The opportunity to be given wetsuits, flippers and masks etc for your trip was great. Saw a lot of fish. Excellent for those not so experienced snorklers.

Very good. The group was split in small groups with language speakers. It took 1h to equip and go to the diving spot. We stayed 1h in the water. It was safety and cool. We saw lots of fishes. Then we turned around the Medes islands. The team was very sympathise. I recommend.

We were a party of 6, 4 adults and 2 childrem age 7 and 10. We had a great afternoon with the Medaqua team. They were calm, fun and really took great care of us. Great snorkling on a not too busy boat. Provided us with good equipment and guided us on our snorkel. Thank you for a memorable trip.
