This is our second dive trip with El Rei Del Mar and for the second time in a row the service was simply excellent. Because of Covid and a local administration problem we had to twice change our dates, Miriam took charge of this without the slightest problem, she was great.. Dive Preparation : El Rei have a great setup, especially the locker storage and the "wetsuit" drying storage. They actually rinse and dry your wetsuit between dives, it's a simple but very effective system. Diving : There are 2 boats which are very, very good to use, it's easy to get on and off and at the end of your dive you are lifter back out of the water using the hydraulic lifts at the back of the boat... It makes the end of the dive a pleasure rather than a chose... On top of that Xavi, Jordi or Paco even help you removing your palms just before your step out of the lift..... It makes for an excellent service... Dive Sites : Because the Iles Medes is a reserve there are a limited number of divers at a time that can visit each spot.. El Rei have good communication with the other dive clubs and always seem to manager to find the right comprise of dive sites and frequency which helps keep your dives varied whilst ensuring that everyone get their fair chance to dive the great spots.. If you dive without a guide, Xavi, Paco, Maddy, Isahac, Jordi or Carmen will quite happily provide you with good details about the best route to follow. It's quite easy to get lost on your return dive as some of the sites are large and have multiple options so listen carefully to the guides advice, they know the sites very well and know the best techniques for keeping yourself on track. I have nothing but praise for El Rei Del Mar, from start to finish we were warmly welcomed on every dive. It's the kind of dive club that you want to dive with, they make your trip a real pleasure.

Was in towards the end of a 3 week trip driving around Spain and ended up doing one dive with this company. They are very professional with good equipment and a family owned business. Be sure that you have a Dr.'s note along with your certification card as it is required in Spain. I had no idea and had to call my Dr. to get one emailed.

I did 5 dives here with my dive club, and organisation was excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The boat is very good, you have lots of space and it even has a lift to take you out of water. The only thing I didn't like is that they only have 1 rinsing tank, so 30+ people end up rinsing their regulators, BCDs and fins all in the same water.

Scuba diving on the Medes islands, one of the very best diving locations in the Med. Groupers everywhere, eagle rays, tunas, coral, cave diving etc. Top-notch PADI diving center with 2 large well-equipped special-purpose diving boats. Extremely professional and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
