A return visit to Roquetas de mar and a very pleasurable return to the Castillo. We visitied here first time in 2013 and were truly taken aback by the views and architecture and our return did not disappoint. The site itself has now expanded to cover within its interior hosting of art and crafts exhibitions which increase the sites appeal.... More

Quite a walk from our hotel, but once there it a lovely inside. All around and on the first floor 'manikins' all dressed in different costumes and armour. Just a stones throw from the marina where we had a drink!

We visited Castillo de Santa Ana, on several occasions, we would walk along the coast, find a nice ice-cream seller and sit here in the cool, it was such a treat.

We stayed a little way down the coast (about an hour and a half walk away), and as a whole the day out was lovely, walking up to the castle/fishing port. The castle is very well kept, and has wonderful views and great photo opportunities. It also has a little light house. AND IT IS COMPLETELY FREE Overall I enjoyed... More

Nice place to spend 5 minutes taking some photos, but nothing special really. Easy to get the bus to from anywhere in Roquetas, but don't let that put you off going, as its in the middle of the town centre and the harbour so a very nice place to spend an afternoon.

Very beautiful little castle which is a must visit to anyone visiting the area. Free entry and nice staff (the lady we met doesn't speak English though). Good collection of gallery. Very impressive collection of ship models with description for each of them and through that room, you climb the stairs to the highest tower of the castle for a... More

Great place to get to the top and look at the views. You can see for miles. Spanish ship museum in it is great too. Been twice the first time you couldn't go in but so glad you can now. Only take an hour or so to look around.
