An afternoon well spent exploring Terceira. Although the weather was not great, Antonio made the tour very enjoyable with his friendly attitude and interesting information about the island. The high quality service given was much appreciated.

Such an enjoyable experience with Antonio from the moment he picked us up. Arriving at the local style picnic area we snacked on local cheeses, Portuguese bread and sipped some delicy wine. We were then guided through how to make local bread and the island's favorite dish Alcatra. Lots of laughs especially while we played marralhinha waiting for the food to cook in a wood burning stove. Antonio and his staff were so kind, informative and helpful even days later running into them in the city. Highly recommended any tours from this company.

The entire experience exceeded my expectations. I loved having the opportunity to make alcatra and bread in a wood oven. My hosts, Antonio and Roy, were knowledgeable and patient in answering my questions. And playing marralinha, along with wine and cheese, while the food cooked was a great way to spend the afternoon.

From the moment we were picked up, it was an adventure waiting to happen. We drove through scenic routes to learn more about Terceira, visited a special hidden cave, watched the weather shift through various seasons, and enjoyed the Natal cave, finishing off with the best - Algar do Carvao (lava tube). You'll learn and explore things with Antonio that won't be noticeable or experienced on your own. We'll definitely come back someday and book more tours with the company.

Antonio was a great guide and brought us to areas we wouldn’t have known to see or couldn’t have reached in a rental car.
He’s a great ambassador for the island, and the tour reflected that. Highly recommended!

Can't say enough positive things about this tour. Great local guide who covers all topics of life on the island and it's history. Went all over the island and saw all the main spots as well as a few off the beaten path places that were all beautiful. Definite recommendation.

Tailored private tour. Hiked the Misterios Negros trail followed by a 1/2 day jeep tour. It was great because as a solo traveler I had a guide along the trail. Lunch was provided, followed by a scenic jeep tour. I saw some beautiful caves and was pleasantly surprised by the locations Antonio took me to. Places I wouldn't have known to ask about.

We did the Terceira Wines & Moonshines 4×4 Tour. What a great tour!
Very nice to discover the island by 4x4 and Antonio was a great guide, showing alle the nice places on the island. During the tour he made pictures of us that he sent us after the tour. The outdoor BBQ with local food was also great, with some good moonshines afterwards lol.
We had a great day. Thanks Antonio!

Just can’t say enough great things about our Jeep tour with Antonio !! Incredible knowledge about his beautiful island Terceira..he tailored our day to suit our wishes ..we saw beautiful sights we never knew existed! We 100 percent recommend this tour ! The food was incredible and the company & laughs even better ! Antonio was a wonderful surprise to meet here in Terceira..if you plan to take a tour book with Pro island tours ..they are the best !!!

We had a perfect day with Patricia crossing the Island (06. January 2020) by Off-Road-Jeep (Land Rover Defender !!!). Wonderful views and delicoius alcatra.

Hello from Vermont, USA! I would love to reserve your "In and Around" 4X4 tour for my upcoming trip to Terciera! I only see options for "private" tours on the days I am available. Hello thank you for your inquiry if you plan to see a lot of the Island i sujest you do a "In & arround Terceira tour on a 4x4" with US which includes an outdoor lunch with local foods, and you Will have a great perception of the island and then if you rent a car (we can get it for you for 25€ day) you can go back to the places you liked Best, the Tour is 85€ Pax
