About
Spanning 64 acres and attracting nearly three million travelers every year, Gardaland Park is one of Europe’s most popular and visited theme parks. It's a family-friendly spot, with rides, attractions, and shows popular with both kids and adults. Thrill seekers can ride the Blue Tornado rollercoaster, and younger kids will enjoy the various themed rides and meeting Peppa Pig at Peppa Pig Land. Riding the Flying Island will also give you great views over Lake Garda. Once you’re done in Gardaland Park, you might want to head to some of the other parks on the complex, like Legoland and Sea-Life. – Tripadvisor

    Quite nice park
Two enjoyable family days at Gardaland, first time for our boys of 10 and 7 years to enjoy rollercoasters with inversions. Day 1: happy about decision to get there early, buy an express pass, and get back to Gardaland Hotel swimming pool for 3 hours to be back and take advantage of long summer opening hours. Day 2: bought 4 Legoland tickets and enjoyed the little waterpark for 4-5 hours, here our kids liked best the Creation Island to build their own boats and try them out. Express pass: as first time visitors, we bought Fab14 passes for EUR 50 for three of us, we used them 8 times each and saved in average 40 min queueing per ride which was well worth it. While this was the right pass for first time, next time we may buy a different pass though, since valid only 1 time for each coaster (there is one offering unlimited rides for 5 coasters you have to select). Only disappointment was Jumanji, which was not very interactive and quite boring/uninspiring. It’s starts well with one scene where screens makes you think you fly down, but this few seconds aside it was not much really, and you will not miss much skipping.
Dear Guest, thank you so much for your kind words. We are happy to read that you had lot of fun with us! We're sorry you didn't appreciate our new ride, but we do hope to see you back soon!

    Pre planning is a must!
We went as a group of 5, and booked our tickets online beforehand. As expected, there were long traffic queues on the approach to the park, so it is best to leave yourself plenty of time to get there. Entry into the park was a touch chaotic, with little guidance as to where to head. We were also aware before arriving to download the app which will allow us to virtually queue for the rides. This information is somewhat buried on the website, and we only really knew this from reading previous less impressed reviews. It would have been worthwhile if there were clearer messages on arriving into the park on how the app worked to avoid people crowding round the entrances of rides. Throughout the course of the day, there was less crowding while everyone got to grips with how the system worked. We had seen reviews commenting that people had been kicked out of the virthal queues without realising, however this didn't happen for us. Personally, the virtual queue system worked well as it meant we could queue for rides not listed on the app or get food while waiting for our turns on other rides. In response to Covid, riders had to sanitise hands before and after rides. Masks had to be kept on at all times, especially on rides where staff would reiterate the message. Also between each set of riders, the seats themselves are sprayed with antibacterial. Overall, while it got off to an iffy start, with a touch preplanning we managed to make it to all the rides we wanted with time to spare.

Enjoyable even on a very hot day
We visited in August 2022 on a very hot day (38+) and I was not looking forward to the day! But on arrival I was pleasantly surprised there were lots of benches in the shade and using the Fast Pass we were able to access popular rides without long queues in the heat. At around 11am we looked for a cold drink and it was difficult to find as all the eateries appear to open at 12pm. We had to wait but enjoyed fresh fruit and cold drinks which were not too overpriced! We visited Aladdin’s for lunch which is cafeteria style with lots of choice and fresh salad. Food was well priced and tasty. We called it a day around 3pm as it was simply too hot - the rides in Peppa Pig land have little shade and were dangerously hot by this point so I would recommend going there first if you have preschoolers on a hot day. All staff were very polite and helpful especially at the ticket desks and on the rides. We had a great day!
Dear Guest, thank you for the feedback you have shared about your visit to the Park. We read with great satisfaction how the day spent with us fully satisfied your expectations. We hope to welcome you soon for a new adventure full of fun in the magical world of Prezzemolo!

This is the an absolute disgrace of a theme park. The staff are rude children and have no respect for paying customers. First ride mammuth we queued for an hour got to the front only to be told our son was too small even though they had measured him at the start of the queue, when my wife complained to the teenager at the exit he said is this the way you behave in your country which was cheeky and completely disrespectful to a lady with a very upset little boy.
We then had to buy “express” passes for nearly every ride to get on them as the queues were astronomical and we wanted to maximise our time there. All the food was disgusting and over priced and again the queues for this were terrible.
The express pass we bought had 14 rides on it but we only got to do maybe 10 as they closed several because of technical issues which really meant the queues had got out of control.
Then to top it off the bus ran by the park was 50 mins late to for its time slot and ended up being so full and hot with no aircon that people were shouting stop the bus so they could get out and walk as the heat and lack of space was unbearable. My advice is keep your money as all they want here is to take as much money off as many people as possible and do not care for their customers. Visit was 25/06/22

Dear Guest, good afternoon from Gardaland Resort. We thank you for taking the time to tell us about your recent experience at the Park which, we read with regret, was not satisfactory. As for the long waits, we want to remember that the summer season, after the end of school, historically represents our peak season, thanks to the hot summer days and the concomitance with most of the holiday periods, many are the visitors who they choose us as a destination for a day of fun and leisure, thus impacting on waiting times compared to other times of the year. We also remind you that, always to provide maximum help and support all our Guests in the best management of the visit to Gardaland Park and / or to resolve any doubts, it is always possible to contact our Call Center, available every day from 9.00 to 21.00 (opening hours in high season); the cast members in charge of the telephone Customer Care service are more than happy to provide all the necessary details to organize the visit and plan the day. With regard to what you have reported, we are sorry if our collaborators may have seemed unprepared and not in line with the high standards we are used to. We assure you, in fact, that attention to the needs of the Guest is of primary importance for us, as well as the kindness and helpfulness of the staff are fundamental aspects for Gardaland, for which it undertakes to train its collaborators in order to contribute to the experience of its visitors. Finally, as regards the delay of our free shuttle bus, we are sure you will understand that the Park is located on the busiest road of Lake Garda: the Gardesana; naturally, not only our kind guests pass through this road, but also all those who have enjoyed a day at the lake and wish to return home, thus impacting the traffic outside our parking lot. We renew our regret for the feelings of disappointment experienced and we hope that in the future there will be a new opportunity to welcome you to the magical world of Prezzemolo! Best regards,

We were cheated. We bought tickets for the Park and the water park. However, the park ticket was valid for August 20th and 21st, while the water park was valid for August 22nd. I bought a package with the Gardaland Magic hotel, park and water park included so I was surprised they mixed up my tickets. They insisted I paid for new full entry tickets for the Gardaland park on the 22nd to be able to use the water park. I had to pay the exhorbitant full amount at the gate even though many outlets like Essenlunga etc were doing promos. They were very rude at the gate which bordered on racism as it felt they were addressing me that way because of my skin colour. Other people that came with different complaints were addressed better. The name of lady at the Park that attended to us was Elena. I suggest you check other parks. It was my daughters 9th birthday celebration and I felt we made a terrible decision of the park chosen.

Dear Guest, a cordial greeting from Gardaland Park. Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at the park with us. We are very sorry to hear that the day spent in our company was not fully satisfactory; it is in fact our first aim to create all the conditions so that each visitor can live real memorable experiences together with us. For what concerns the Hotel part, we already answered to the e-mail you sent us 2 months ago. Nevertheless, we want to underline once again how Legoland Water Park is located inside Gardaland Park and therefore you need a valid entrance ticket for the Park to enjoy the Water Park; without this essential condition, nobody, without any kind of exception, can benefit of the structure. Nonetheless these due considerations we regret that you missed these information during the booking process which then have created this tricky and complicated situation with our staff members and that the tone of the conversation escalated irretrievably, bringing discomfort and uneasiness also to the other Guests present in that moment inside the office. Wishing you a good day, we send our best regards

Useless booking system that lets you book one ride at a time. Ok if you are in a big group and each persons books ahead a different ride. However i was by myself with my son. Booked a ride with 3 hour queque but they would not let me go on any other bookable rides even if there was no virtual queue (the corsari ). If other rides only had 30 minute wait, still couldnt book. Anyhow booked raptor at 1240, available slot 1550.... ride broke down with only 2 minutes to go. €100 for 3 rides in the morning and a long wait in the afternoon. Not worth it. Other non bookable rides really no better than any fair ground

Dear Luca, thanks for having shared with us your thoughts about your last visit at Gardaland Park. We have carefully read your comments and we are truly sorry that certain aspects of your experience did not match your expectation; Gardaland's Big Family has worked very hard to open the Park guaranteeing safety and protection of everyone. One of this extra security measures is the mandatory use of QODA App, essential for the virtual queuing process that avoid gathering of people along the q-line itinerary. it is important to highlight that this system has been adopted as a virtual queuing one and not as a planner of the day inside Gardaland; it substitutes people in the line, giving them the chance to spend the waiting time around in the Park assisting at one of our amazing shows and Meet&Greet, tasting one of our delicious culinary proposals or riding one of the 17 rides that not need the virtual queuing process. Nonetheless this further explanation, we renew our regret toward your disappointment and we do hope to welcome you back in the future. Kind regards

Very easy to find and navigate, near Verona city, with provided parking for a fee of 5 EUR.
Before you continue to read, you should know that you should definitely visit but when everything goes back to normal, without restrictions and temperature checks and other things...
If you have possibility and of course time, you should visit Gardaland in the different time of year (different season), because in that case you will experience the full fun and thrill of all the rides and different themes that changes every year.
There a lot of food choices and drinks as usually in Italy so don't worry.
Lot of attraction for all ages and different content every time we visit.
Average waiting time is about 45 min for popular rides in high season, and about 20 min in the winter (Winter Magic).
We strongly recommend!

A holiday-ruining experience. We booked online, hence assumed (as you do) that we would be able to get something back (at almost 40 euros each). Surely, if the place is full, they'll say that that date is sold off? But no. Their business model is to let as many people as possible in - with no regard for capacity and number of staff employed - then take the money and run. The children managed 4 very average rides (Mammut, Pirates, Cinema and a water ride) in a whole day becuase of the waiting times, plus the queueing for overpriced food. You end up being exusted and feeling you have been robbed. Unless you want to fork out another 20 Euros each to jump the queues. A total disgrace.

Dear Guest, good afternoon from Gardaland Resort. We thank you for taking the time to tell us about your recent experience at the Park which, we read with regret, was not satisfactory. We assure you that every report is always taken into consideration, as our main and only goal is to make our Visitors spend days full of fun and carefree. As for the long waits, you will surely understand that many people, like you, have decided to choose Gardaland as a destination for their weekend, which is why you could find a much higher turnout than normal. We also want to underline that this year we don't have a limited capacity of the Park (and that's why the reservation is not necessary anymore, since April 1st), and therefore the date cannot be sold out. We also remind you that, always to provide maximum help and support all our Guests in the best management of the visit to Gardaland Park and / or to resolve any doubts, our information office is always available, located in the West village or, before the visit, it is possible to contact our Call Center, available every day from 9.00 to 18.00; the cast members in charge of the telephone Customer Care service are more than happy to provide all the necessary details to organize the visit and plan the day. We are very sorry, of course, for the disappointment you encountered during your visit to Gardaland, but we hope that there will soon be a new opportunity to welcome you and your family to the Park. Overpriced for what you get. Family with 2 young kids: parking fee 6€. 49€x2 for adult, 44€x2 for kids age 7&9. No family reductions.
Makes 192€. Add 15-20 € for overpriced lowest quality fast food per person and you are at 272€.
We managed 10 rides in 8hours. Waiting times mid July in 33 degrees Celsius can be over 30 minutes. Walking times 5-10minutes between rides. Durations of rides mostly very short. Sometimes not even 30 seconds.
You can spend addtional 5€ per ride to fast track (or get unlimited fast track packages for 50€ or even 90€).
Raising the cost per ride even more. After 3rd or 4th time doing one of the 4 or 5 interesting rides most ppl will get bored.... (Which family is willing to spend between 450€ and 600€ a day for 4ppl to fast track the only 4 or 5 interesting and too short rides). Insane.

At any Volksfest in Germany (e.g. Oktoberfest) you get MUCH better and higher quality food, less waiting time, attractions last longer, are cheaper and you do not have to waste full day waiting = lower opportunity costs.

Terrible organization, awful queuing system, huge disappointment for the whole family, such a shame as this was our third visit.
The whole Qoda system made the visit hugely frustrating- mainly as the food options for vegetarians was so awful. We couldn’t even buy chips - spent 2 hours trying to get lunch. Queues for the rides were over an hour long and even those not needing Qoda were around 30 minutes so impossible to fit stuff in. Also, the app drained the phones, sometimes didn’t work, getting online not always possible. By 6pm, we’d managed 3 rides and a late lunch. Normally I’d recommend Gardaland, but with the current situation, I’d only recommend going outside of holidays or weekends or don’t bother.

After going through the reviews we were expecting a bad day at Gardaland Park as we still wanted to vist. However we had a super lovely day!

Yes there are queus but nothing longer than 45minutes, with most of them 25-30minutes but the rides are fun and so worth the wait :)

There is so many to do that we spent around 8hours at the park so the price is worth it as well. We purchased the tickets online including the parking and so we did not wait at all upon entrance.

Would recommend to visit on weekdays and take only a small bag with you not heavy backpacks :)

Excellent theme park for families with young children and teens who like roller-coasters. It was less crowded in October 1st week. It is big theme park that needs normally 2 days. When they open Legoland water theme park in 2021, you need 1 week for gardaland, legoland water-park, Movieland, Caneva waterworld.

If being robbed of your cash in exchange for nothing (45 euro each) is your thing, look no further than Gardaland. 1 hour and counting queues for most attractions, made slower by those who pay extra... to jump the queue! Yes, there is an extra ticket for queue jumpers ! We stayed 7 hours, managed 5 rides... no wonder there is no costumer desk anywhere or they would be flooded by complaints.
Better to get a football and a picnic and enjoy the lake!
