lovely spot - the lady who gave us the tour and did our tasting was so knowledgeable and kind and answered all our questions. I really appreciate that their operation is organic and sustainable and respectful of the land. They had fresh veggies for sale and meats and cheeses and honey - everything was marvelous!

This was the final stop on a private tour my husband and I booked while we were on a cruise docked in Livorno. What an incredible finish to a spectacular day ... this winery / farm is perched on a hill in the heart of Chianti and the location is just breathtaking. We had a tour of the cellars and learned so much about their various processes, which involve far more than wine. The farm also produces amazing extra virgin olive oil as well as grains and legumes; they even have an area that is dedicated to their Senese breed of pigs, who live free range on the property. We were fortunate to try their olive oil, some of their delicious pork, three wines, and a dessert wine. We enjoyed everything so much that we shipped a case home to the US - it arrived two weeks after our visit with no customs or delivery issues. Highly recommend a visit if you travel to this region of Italy - it's only about 15km from Florence and it is absolutely worth your time to stop and tour the farm and sample their delicious products.

We have been on numerous wine tours in Tuscany. The was by far the most informative tour ever. Viola was the best vineyard guide. She took her time and carefully explained the proper wine tasting techniques. This organic vineyard is very close to Firenze centro. Our wine arrived at our home today. Only two weeks since we visited the farm.

We just did a tour of the vineyard in late October. Emma was by far the most amazing wine guide we have ever been exposed to. She was knowledgeable, passionate, and hospitable the entire time. We learned a lot and truly enjoyed the wines!! This is the best winery we have ever been to!!! We will never forget her and the knowledge we obtained while there. Hope she comes to visit us when they go to PA next year!!!

We had a great time here, the staff is very kind, they really love what they do. Wine is delicious, specially the sweet one, very recommended. You can also taste olive oil and honey, all of them made there, old style and fully organic and enviromental-friendly.

This is a wonderful winery that is all organic, and takes great pride in what they produce. Not only do they produce amazing Chianti, they also produce top notch olive oil that has been rated at an elite level. The tour covers the history and methods behind the wine and olive oil production, then includes samples of 4 wines along with the olive oil and light snacks to go with it.

Great presentation, wonderful wine, and a friendly guide who was extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend that anyone interested in wine should check this place out!

We were a group of six friends and taken to the winery via a paid tour. We absolutely loved the entire experience. We were added to a larger tour group through the winery. We went below to the cellars and saw the old wine barrels and vats. Everything was described and we learned a lot about wine making. We then were seated in a dining room setting, given bread and dipping oil, pork products, and tasted 3 different wines. What is amazing is that even my non-wine drinking husband liked the red wine! We bought a bottle for home and are working on getting him more into drinking wine. We loved the tour and highly recommend if you have the opportunity to go!

Our trip to Fattoria San Michele a Torri was part of our Truffle and Chianti Tasting Tour we signed up for through Trip Advisor. When we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted and instantly taken on a tour of the facility. They were in the middle of harvest so there was plenty to see as all the machinery was out on display. After the tour we sat down in their gorgeous tasting room and started the session. The wine selection was truly enjoyable showing the differences in their super Tuscan to their DOCG selection. The tasting was accompanied by the property's own produced cheese and meat which was available for purchase afterwards. We also did an olive oil tasting, showing the different qualities that are visible with organic farming. The pricing for shipping any wine home was very affordable and a nice gift to look forward to after your trip has ended.

If this review were based solely on the Winery tour I would go with a five. The tour is a wonderful Tuscan experience.

Unfortunately this review is not just about the tour though and it is about my overall experience with this business which is not good to say the least.

Beware of this business, the winery itself was a great tour, but do not I repeat do not order anything from them to be shipped to the US. We were at the winery back in April of 2017 and placed an order which arrived with in the two week time frame as indicated, so we decided to place a larger order with them on line. That order was placed on 5/31/2017 at almost 300 euros and still has not been delivered. I have contacted them several times and gotten different answers or lies each time. At the end of June, the first contact they provided me a tracking number that showed this order in the US awaiting Customs clearance in Louisville KY about 80 miles from where I live, I thought this is great order should arrive any day. By the end of July I contacted them again and they provided me with a tracking number showing delivery in Connecticut, I replied to them saying this could not be right because I do not live in Connecticut. They respond that was their mistake and that after researching they should this had been delivered to my address in KY in May, they of course were referencing our first order and not the second larger order. Finally I contacted them again in the first week of August to point out their error to which they agreed but indicated after talking to there Courier there was nothing they could do because this order is in the possession of an unnamed US importer that will ship this order to me with in a time frame that is not known. Today is 8/19/2017 and I have once again contacted them demanding they get me the name and address of the Importer and ETA as to when the order will arrive, I have also demanded that they refund the order to my credit card if they cannot provided this information immediately. I will report on any feedback I get from them but it is clear they are having some sort of internal issues with orders being sent to the US. Again order at your own risk better yet don't order as it looks like others have had the same problem, see post from Jen W. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but we will be going on three months on 8/31/2017 since this order was placed.
