Palazzo Communale is the town hall of Pienza and it is located in the Piazza Pio II, the main square of the town. The town is in Tuscany Region, in the center of Italy. In fact, the main square, the Duomo (Cathedral), the Palazzo Piccolomini (a palce of Pope Pio II), other buildings and this Palazzo Comunale are a very beautiful full Renaissance complex in the middle of the old town. Also, this building has a very nice bell tower and when we visited the city (in August-2019) with my 3 years old daughter, here there is a small concert and my daughter enjoyed a lot playing and singing with it. Very nice.

The town hall was probably built as a part of the huge reform of the city in the 15th century, but it was completely redesigned in 1900 with a nice portico, hidden by several arches resting on the Ionic columns. The travertine facade is decorated with four windows adding its share of the atmosphere to the wonderful complex of buildings at the main square.

It's found on the main street at the Piazza Pio II which also contains the Duomo and various palazzos which contain museums. Interesting building with beautiful arches.

Old 15th century building with arched portico adds beauty and atmosphere to the magnificent ensemble of the Piazza Pio. Lovely flower beds add even more charm.
