Lovely sandy beach at marina di pisa. We expected to need to arrive early to get chairs but we've been here since 11am and it's now 1.45pm and there has been times we've been the only family here. There are a few inflatables for the children to use, a nice bar and snacks, toilets and changing rooms. It was 15€ for a family of 5 to enter and use 2 deckchairs and a parasol.

This small beach in Marina di Pisa is only 8€ all day for a lounge chair and umbrella and has a nice protected swimming area and outdoor showers. A nice alternative to baking in the sun ;)

This paid access beach is small but has a lot of value for families with smaller children (12 and younger). €8 gets you all day access with beach chairs and parasol for a family of four. The small beach is imported beach sand—very nice and super clean—and is protected and calm for younger kids. It’s quite a small beach, and there are jetties/rocks protecting it to be so, so the swimming area is small. When we visited in mid-June, the water is fairly cool, maybe 70-73oF, and pretty clear. Our kids absolutely LOVED it, and would have stayed all day if they could have. There are water toys and floats provided, and a small playset, table games, and outdoor football (soccer) field too. The snack bar is well stocked and very reasonably priced, and you can bring the drinks or ice cream down to the beach too. Everyone is friendly and there are mostly locals here (a good sign!). We had an absolutely wonderful time here!...well worth the entrance and short trek over from Pisa.

Bagno Gorgona is a small private beach located right in the centre of Marina di Pisa. If you're looking for a full service beach with a coffee shop and parasol rentals, this is your only option until you get to the beaches nearing Tirrenia. It's got a well kept but tiny sandy beach with a few parasols, with a good deal more space on decks with and without sand. Parasol rentals are quite reasonably priced, and you can book ahead without pre-paying, which is necessary if you want to be sure to get a spot on the beach in high season, particularly on the weekends. There are two chairs per parasol (you can rent beds as well), and up to 4 people can enter per rented parasol.

Amenities include among other things a coffee bar, rentable changing stalls, shaded deck seating, a football ground/tennis court, playground facilities for kids and life guard service.

This is primarily a place for lounging in the sun, not for swimming. The small beach only has sand about 50 m out (clearly marked), before you hit the pervasive sharp rocks. They even stick high enough it's not easy to swim past. In other words, you can soak for a bit, but you won't get much swimming done. Great for small children, though.

If you want to lounge in the sun and want a bit of comfort to surround it, or if you want a place where you can chill and small kids can find something to do it might serve you well. In high season it's quite crowded, though.

It's competition nearby are kilometers of public pebble beaches (with and without molo sheltering from the sea) and a sheltered public sandy beach between Bagno Gorgona and the Marina, but without much in the way of amenities (including parasol rental).

This is a nice private beach next to our laundromat of the day. Looked like a great place to wait with a cold beer. But then the kids showed, well you can guess how much fun we had.
