Stunning setting for paddle boarding with the most beautiful crystal clear blue water you could ever see.
Everything was ready for us when we arrived, we booked on line and paid at the venue. Very friendly and helpful staff and after a short briefing we were ready to go.
Suitable for all abilities and you get a whole hour to explore the canyon on your own.
The only reason not to give 5 stars is the canyon is much shorter than we expected, 200 metres long and a couple of the life vests were a bit smelly, but once they were wet it was ok.
Please go if you like peace and tranquility you will not be disappointed. One of our Tuscan holiday highlights for sure.

Hi Julie, Thank you very much for this review and details given! It’s right the canyon is not too long, but inside the section you are visiting there are so many things to see and do it will take one full hour to visit . Thank you for pointing this out. Life vests are sanitized with certified anti-Covid solutions and the smell at the beginning can be felt, we are sorry for this. As soon as they get wet , as mentioned, everything goes back to normal. Thank you very much for proposing Canyon Park as a holiday highlight , we are so grateful for this! Ciao e grazie !!

Canyon Park is beautiful drive into the mountainous region of Northern Tuscany. Don't be fooled this is not your easy ziplining adventure. There is tightrope walking, some canyoneering and suspended bridges. All secure by cable but definitely a work out. You need go have some semblance of fitness to get through the course. All done over a beautiful river. Definitely worth doing everytime you visit Toscana.

Friendly. Knowledgeable. Easy to get along with. A well paced hike in hot weather, Andrea was fantastic. Highly recommend both the hike and paddle boarding session. He even made our vegan guests feel well accommodated during our picnic just outside of Casoli.

Hi Sam we are glad you spent a nice day with us . "Our" trekking tries to be featured as a truly genuine experience involving landscapes, history and ... food. Yes we want to meet any visitor's need and we are happy you enjoyed both the staff and the activity! Pic-niquing under that tree is really unique. Andrea will be vary happy and this review has been forwarded right away. THANK YOU!!!!

First time on a paddle board and this was the perfect introduction. The water is so still and beautifully clear. One hour is plenty as it doesn't take long to travel up and down. Seems well run and professional. One complaint is that on the website it clearly states only one adult per board, whereas when we were there lots of boards had two adults on. I would have brought my wife along had I known. Access to car park is tight, if you have a nice car with low ground clearance you may damage it. Allow 15 mins to get from car park to sup.

Thank you so much for this detailed overview. We are glad to know you liked the place and activity. Regarding the information we confirm the activity is normally one person per board. That’s how the activity is conceived and proposed. If some at the beach want to go in 2 they can , with 2 life vests and helmets but for a different price. Of course the activity is different since the board is more difficult to “drive”. It’s absolutely correct low clearance vehicle may have problem to access the upper part of the parking. In this case we use the lower part with no special requirements. It’s so beautiful having reviews from foreigners ... we missed you so much this year. Thank you again and grazie!

Its never the same, wonderful Zipline and River Rafting! A must! Tour guides speak many languages and are very helpful. View is 100% and will never be forgotten. Remember to bring pants with zipper pockets so you can bring your cell phone for pictures, otherwise you can ask local photographers to take your pictures (high quality).

I recommend the Zipline (with some climbing action also :-) and the SUP. Location is a beautiful canyon. Especially in the very hot August a refreshing experience. Instructors there are helpful and friendly. Everything looked safe and clean. I really enjoyed beeing there and will visit again if I ever came back to Tuscany.

We had a great afternoon out SUPping with the whole family in this gorgeous little canyon. Cristal clear waters down to 10 meters deep, very cold but still refreshing. The SUPping was easy going but great fun for all ages.

The site is gorgeous, lovely river and very very cold water.
In the group some went to the line adventure and some didn’t.
For those who didn’t, the place is full of people and not very comfortable when large groups of teens do their thing regardless of others (nothing to do with the place, but relevant to know)
The ones who experienced the line adventure were somehow disapointed because they where in a very large group with very different ages, skills and confidence level, so what could have been a funny hour adventure turned to be a two hour queuing hanging from hooks in stone walls.
Not as expected

Hi there and thank you for this review. Being the period in question the “Ferragosto” week , which is the hottest week of the whole year in terms of vacation with a national holiday in between , the news would have been if the park was not crowded. We do not like it indeed. We love periods like this, one week after of before where we go back to a natural situation. The place as you mentioned is beautiful and first of all it’s a public place. So in that specific week bunches of humans , usually attending shopping malls , is visiting all places with a shadow and som fresh air. We are sorry if the group was large, it’s not our intention. Sometimes a group is arriving late so it’s mixed with the next. It’s something we try to avoid by any means , sending automatic reminders the day before and even calling on the phone if someone is late. But I repeat, that specific week everything is out of the ordinary. (Today we had groups made out by 4 visitors only for example!) Hoping to have you in a different period we thank you for your contribution Ciao e grazie

My 13yr old son, Tom, and I drove up to Canyon Park on Monday 25th August 2015.
We were staying in Riolo, Monte Di Villa, up above Bagni Di Lucca, so the drive up to Scesta was short but beautiful as we followed the Lima river upstream through the valley. The large parking area is clearly marked, so, now on foot, we made the short 5 min walk to Canyon Park. The first thing you come to is the old stone bridge that crosses you over the canyon and grants you access to the park.
From the bridge you get your first glimpse of the sheer size and beauty of the canyon. It is also at this point that you notice the cables, small platforms and zip lines that criss cross the canyon high above the water. The realisation then sets in that this is the route that you will be asked to take to traverse the canyon. We were both feeling a little nervous as we carried on up to the cabin to register.
We were met by the charming and friendly Paulo, who speaks perfect english and he took us through the process of signing in before getting us set up with a harness and helmet.
Once every one in the group was ready and we had our bags and valuables locked in the cabin we were allowed access to the canyon. Paulo gave a short briefing in Italian and english about how to safely use the carabiner and pulley system that was integral to your harness. Our guide then hooked us onto the cable line that would lead us through the canyon. you very quickly realise what a wonderfully simple and safe system it is that you are harnessed to. At no point through the entire route are you unconnected from the cable that is fixed into the rock face.
This quickly dispels any fears you may have had and you find yourself traversing rock faces and flying along vast zip lines 25m above the canyon floor.
My son, Tom, was the first to be clipped to the line which left me a little apprehensive at first but he was soon climbing like a professional, safe in the knowledge that it was just not possible to fall at any time.
The canyon is simply stunning. The sun pierces the trees, making the clear blue waters shine beneath you. We saw Kingfishers catching small fish in the shallow waters and rapids. It’s Mesmerizing.
1.5 hrs after first arriving, we made our final climb out of the canyon and headed back to the cabin with Paulo and our guide.
Tom told me that it was the best experience of his holiday so far, so, after paying Paolo for a second time we went back to the start and did the whole thing again !
After all the climbing in the hot sun, you head down to the end of the canyon where there is a beach and you can swim in the beautifully cold waters to cool off. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic. You are made to feel at ease and confident the whole time. The guides are all experienced climbers and are with the group at all times. When we went round the second time we were in a group of italian pensioners !

We couldn’t recommend it highly enough, an easy 5*.
