Great experience, exciting even though I thought it would be better. I didn't hear the war sound effects, maybe the button to activate them was broken. However, my 10 year old son was very impressed. The whole area around is beautiful, with a glacier and a lake.

Even if you are not particularly interested in history or the wars you owe it to yourself and your peers to visit here. It is unbelievable what our fathers went through and how they coped. It is not scary or weird just a little sad but interesting.

Tell the story of WWI soldiers fighting on the mountains. We have been there while it was raining and cloudy, so it gave us some of the feelings those soldiers probably felt themselves. Amazing view, and a thrilling monument near by to the Italian and the Austro-Hungarian soldiers.

Definitely worth a visit if you're on the glacier - although only small - it's interesting to see what folk went through - what hardships they suffered.

It is a tunnel dug inside the Presina glacier, in which there are photos, artifacts and voices of the First World War fought in these areas. Definitely an interesting stop for those who are passionate about history, but it is not something I would come to see on purpose, if it were not in a beautiful area of the Tonale

When are these tunnels open? We are visiting in February and would love to see them, but never noticed them being open in Winter? Thanks

Thank you - we found the tunnels and enjoyed reading/hearing about the war-time events on the Glacier!

sei a posto.

Buona visita

Hello. I am interested in coming to this attraction. How would I get there from the centre of Passo Del Tonale? Do you pay? Is there public transport?is there a cafe?
Thank you

You can get the ski lift up. I presume if you don't have a lift pass there would be a charge. Yes there is a really nice restaraunt just off lift station.
