From the moment we arrived we instantly felt a connection! The water was warm, crystal clear, a swimmer and snorkeler's dream come true! As the Cala Mariolu is only accessible by boat, tourists are relatively few and at times we felt this piece of paradise belonged to us alone. My boys were able to jump from the rocks into the... crystal clear water of an astonishing colour, white stones which are flat and smooth and just beautiful. You can jump from an cliff into the sea, which is 6 m deep.

Beach with taste of Caribean. White stone, crystal clear water, accessible only on boat. In August little bit overcrowded. For sure worthy to visit.

This was by far my favourite beach in Sardegna. It's better to access the beach by boat with many companies operating full day excursions from either Cala Gonone or Arbatax. I went scuba diving on this beach for the first time - it's supposed to be one of the best places to dive in Sardegna and it definitely didn't disappoint.... More

We took out a RIB [rigid inflatable boat] with a 40 hp outboard on it - a great way to see all the beaches & rock formations along the bay. All for EUR 150 including fuel from Lino Fancello at Dolmen - Servizi Turistici. He also was good at replying to emails & when we arrived was renting another couple... More

White sand, ok, white little stones that make the water seem incredibly blue. It is the type of beach you meet in the Caraibeans. It is included in all boat trips so there are a lot of people on it, and it is not very big in size. I would still hghly recommend it, but have patience.

We accessed this beach by boat as we hired a boat for the day. This beach was definitely the prettiest of the one's we saw. The water is crystal clear and the rocks make it look pretty. However, it is such a busy beach. I recommend getting here really early in the morning just to enjoy it to yourself. You... More

Considering the beaches we visited that day, this is really one of the best! It's a pity you could easily reach it only by boat, but this is probably also the reason why it is still so beautiful!
