I must declare from the beginning that this report might be biased. The reason is that I have been a friend of both artists for many years, I love them and their masterpieces and I am lucky enough to have acquired a number of them over the years. My last visit was in August 2014, but I have also visited it many other tomes in the past. Whenever and wherever you are in this fantastic mountain called Pelion, you should not miss the opportunity to visit Eroterra, set in Tsagarada, one of the most interesting and historic villages of Mount Pelion. The unique paintings, statues and ceramic art pieces, cannot leave you indifferent by ant means. It is quite likely that at the end, you would not like to quit the place. A `must do` visit.

Stumbled across this fantastic ceramic workshop when we were visiting Tsagkarada. Litzi welcomed us warmly and allowed us time to look around the displays of both hers and her husband's work. We were offered coffee and local sweets during our one hour visit! The choice was vast and difficult to narrow down, but eventually is limited by cost and in-flight weight limit. It is always worth paying for quality and we are delighted with our traditionally dressed Greek couple! They made it home safely in our hand luggage thanks to Litzi's expert packaging and are now proudly on display in our sitting room in Wiltshire. For any visitor wanting to absorb culture, quality and meet a lovely host - this workshop is well worth the visit.

We were in Tsagkarada on holiday and we, by pure luck, got into Evangelia's workshop.
It has been fantastic, she's incredibly hospitable and kind and, obviously, an extremely talented artist.
We loved her pieces and got some to add to our collection, the animals were marvellous.
It has been a great bit of luck to meet, and a shame we couldn't come visit again.
But you never know, maybe we'll meet in Faenza next time you come over.
Ciao. :)

The charming owner and potter will show you her a large range of ceramics and may add a little gift of her own.

We have visited the shop in search for pottery that we can hang on the wall - we found a beautiful choice of plates with distinctive style. After we have made our choice our plate was perfectly packed - with very kind decorations, although it was just for us - the artist insisted to make the gift for ourselves also very special, that was so kind!
