We have visited the area of Loutraki many times but we visited 2 times in the last two weekends. On this two weekends only once we stayed at the beach and this after 6 pm as it was always so crowded that you couldnt even breathe.
Too many people packed one on another, many children screaming all around, many bars on the beach road that have overtake all the beach. Not even a single spot to place your chair or your towel.
Water was somehow nice but dirty in many spots. Beach also in terrible condition.
We are not sure about the prices of the beachbar but through our experience we cn understand that the prices on the area are higher than anywhere on the town.
Better visit this place not on high season and ofcourse is much better to skip it as there re other good places not far from here and ofcourse not so packed

I have been on vacation in Loutraki since I was a kid in1982.
The standard of the infrastructure has declined steadily every year.
The service level has declined steadily every year. Now it is mainly young people working at the restaurants and only1 out of 4 speaks English.
The worst, however, is the development of the sea quality. The beach used to be crystal clear but now it is filled with garbage. You are basically swimming with plastic bags and micro plastic which is very dangerous.
The reataurants on the beach are also poor with low quality food and old sun beds which are uncomfortable.
Sad to say, this was probably my final trip to Loutraki!

Lunch and cooling off after visiting the Corinth Canal. The promenade with many restaurants is about 15 minutes from the observation bridge. Lots of cafes and restaurants. Beautiful, clear water. Very well attended.

On our way back from Argolis we stopped for a swim and food in Loutraki. Although it was early August, the beach was not crowded. There was enough comfort to choose a bath, both in free parts of the beach and in sections with umbrella seats. We, traditionally, chose a relatively quiet free spot on the beach. The waters were clear, although not as clear as the Aegean. Beach for a quick swim, without special requirements.

The sea is a mess day after day. Garbage and everything else you can imagine. Put the nets back and change the mayor. I've had a house for 40 years and I've never seen such a mess before!!!

Crowded in summer. Beach is stony and rather narrow. Sunbeds are assigned to cafes and restaurants, so in reality you pay 4 euros per person and receive a complimentary drink of your choice.

The rocks and litter make it hard to enjoy the sea. Had to take sun loungers. Sooo many people on weekends. I would rather choose sandy beach. Was really windy in June.

Loutraki, nice and busy bayside town. Lots of tavernas & cafes along the sea with complimentary sun beds if you buy a drink or something to eat. Great way to have an ouzo & meze. Greece #Loutraki #LoutrakiGreece #Corinth #Greece
