It doesn't matter you can get there only by car or with excursion. The incredible, breathtaking view at almost 360º is worth it! Besides, you can have a good rest at the lake just 10 minutes away.

If you are around you absolutely must come here. The road to this place is already beautiful and picturesque. On-site there is a beautiful walk to the beach surrounded by rocks with the ruins of an ancient temple. Unique and beautiful because of its location. Above, the lighthouse is also worth a visit.

We visited this spot perhaps twenty years ago and spent the afternoon sunbathing and swimming by the small beach and strolling around the ruins of the temple of Hera. Since then, there have been further extensive excavations of the site, and if you are interested in archaeology, I heartily recommend the drive out here. There is a well-sized parking area just before the lighthouse, which, on the late afternoon when we visited, had several other vehicles including a tour bus parked. The one untypical thing I noticed was a posted warning about not leaving any valuables in your car - they've obviously had problems there. A couple of other small points to mention: once in the water, from the beach, it gets deep quickly, and, as I've noted elsewhere, there seem to be an excess of stray dogs in this area, that can become a nuisance begging for food.

Great place with great views. We were here in January - no people, peace and quiet. Can spent hours sitting and relaxing on the rocks. If you become bored, just couple of meters away the ruins of ancient temple, where you will spend your time studding ancient history.

Well worth the drive out to see the point and the lighthouse, you will pass by a lake with a small entrance form the sea, good for swimming.
