Kefalonia Island Tour

28 reviews
Commence a scenic island drive through olive groves, vineyards and thick cypress glades. Passing through the Mount Aenos you will visit the Robola Winery and taste the famous Robola variety of wine. Explore the Drogarati Caves, famous for their acoustics. Visit the geological phenomenon that is the Melissani Lake which is in an underground cave. Next, we go for lunch to the cosmopolitan village of Fiscardo, untouched after the great earthquake of 1953. Leaving Fiscardo you will head to the little fishing village of Assos, which gives the impression of being an island of its own. En route on our way back, you’ll make a photo stop at Myrtos Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

What you will see:
• Robola Winery – Visit inside, wine tasting
• Drogarati Cave – Visit inside
• Melissani Lake – Visit inside, boat ride
• Fiscardo Village – Lunch break (optional)
• Assos Village – Coffee stop
• Photo-stop at Myrtos beach

The walk up to this bar isn’t anywhere near as bad as it looks from the main road. Gorgeous views during the early evening and among the best drinks we had all holiday. The English waitress is lovely and very chatty, but a little prone to talking the island down (e.g. she talked another couple out of hiring a car because the roads are unsafe and local government are “rubbish”). Felt a bit disrespectful and not in the spirit of working in an already battered tourism industry.

Just wow! The view from this place at sunset was simply incredible! A short climb from Lassi’s main strip, this is somewhere definitely worth visiting. A friendly welcome, delicious cocktails and a view to die for!

Popped up for a drink on our last night in Lassi, we had been pit off thinking it was high up the hill but it wasn't half as bad as we thought and well worth it for the views! We had a drink and sat and watched the sunset, very chilled out vibes, was really nice and the staff were lovely and friendly. Highly recommend

Visited to meet friends and have a few drinks. Very relaxed atmosphere. The kids loved the infinity pool. Car almost didn't make it up the slope to get there though!!
