Krios is a fine beach where someone can visit with friends or family and spend time. The terrain is rocky. The beach is about 10 km from Palaiochora and has small a canteen where you can buy water and eat a small snack. If you visit the beach early or end of the summer season the canteen may be closed. The beach is also a E4 trail point. You can drive with car over there and there is plenty of space fro parking.

Nice calm rocky beach The E4 trail to eleafonisi starts here (well marked trail head) it is a 4-5 hour walk bit completely worth it. We spent one day at krios beach, and the next day we walked from krios to eleafonisi.

This stony beach is quite big with a couple of areas of sunbeds that cost 7 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella. The beach has a backdrop hills rising behind and to the west of the beach. The sea is clear and good for swimming, snorkeling etc, For competent swimmers there is even an island to swim out to. There is a cantina that serves drinks and snacks, the food we had was very good and not expensive.Ther area couple of portaloos on the beach, not the best but functional. There is a church up a hill at the rear of the beach with good views of the Krios bay and surrounding area.To get to the church you pass a goat farm on the way,we have never seen such healthy looking goats.

The last beach after Paleochora. It's west of it. It is a long pebble beach. To go to it wants a private car. There is a canteen. The beach is relatively quiet and suitable for families.
