To me the word "Beach" conjure's up an image of nice golden sand, but this is mainly stones and large pebbles, why anyone would want to lie on them is beyond me, but each to their own taste. If you are in the resort, then...More

We were here at the beginning of November 2017 and found the water too cold for our liking, but we did see a few people swimming in the very clear water every day. The beach wasn't busy but there usually were a dozen or more...More

Chalikia Beach has the best swimmingwater. Pure and crystal-clean water. And Chalikia Beach is idyllic with a fantastic view over the sea. It is a stone-beach, but there are sunbeds and sunshades. The best cafe in the town, Votsalo, is located 20 meter from Chalikia...More

Pebbled beach, a little problematic to get into the sea, so shoes/sandals are a good advice. Once this is solved, this is a good place for swimming, long stretches, close to shore if needed. Sufficient sun beds and parasols for rent, open air showers available...More

We have not done the sandy beach for many years now and Chalikia beach is our favourite. No matter what time you arrive you are almost guaranteed an umbrealla and beds which are very close to the waters edge. And what water. This is as...More

Very nice beach and very clear waters. Still, you may need some plastic shoes if you want to get in and out easily. Interesting that there are messages - text written at the bottom of the sandy sea with little stones taken from the beach!

Clear clear water, breathtaking views, and so convenient for the town and the local tavernas. Take some suitable footwear to walk down to the water ( a very short distance ) as walking on the pebbles can be painful, but worth it! There are plentiful...More
