Rest eines mittelalterlichen Stadttors

Das Türmchen diente lange als Wohnung und ist jetzt in ein winziges Museum umgestaltet worden. Man kann die Geschichte der Stadtbefestigung, der Stadt und des Gebäudes nachvollziehen.

Ein Stück Wittlicher Geschichte

Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert. Es war mal ein Teil der Wittlicher Stadtmauer. Dort kann man auch ein Film sehen über die Stadt Wittlich.

Bald als Museum zu besuchen

Das kleine Häuschen ist in Wittlich ist als Türmchen bekannt. Es ist Teil der alten Stadtmauer, wahrscheinlich Teil eines Stadttores. Sehr aufwendig und liebevoll restauriert soll es bald auch für die Öffentlichkeit in Form eines Museums geöffnet werden. Derzeit leider nur ein schön anzuschauendes kleines Haus..
