A very well organized museum to discover D-day. The movie with real footage from d-day is amazing. The exhibits with lots of details and objects are very well organized. A temporary exhibit on war prisoners is very instructive.

Museum is well done. Find out about life during occupation for the French, the French resistance efforts, life as a POW after D-Day. Of course lots about D-Day, and the only bomber outside of North America on display. Artifacts on display from construction of museum...More

As the title says, this is one of the largest museums in Normandy. They've got a great collection and really wonderful information. A few excellent reconstructions, and a special section dedicated to Dick Winters with a video commentary by him (for fans of Band of...More

We almost didn't go but what a mistake that would have been. 4 hours later, my kids had to be pulled out of here. The stories and presentations are top notch. Utah Beach is such an important part of D-Day but it doesn't get the...More

This Museum has some great exhibits. The only drawback was a large number of people in the museum which made getting close to some of the exhibits difficult. But in all fairness, it was near the anniversary of D-Day.

Great place to visit and take a very important history lesson. Staff helpful and there is a cafe outside the museum if you are hungry. If you will go to the beach and walk to your left you can find remains of the bunkers, very...More

Significantly better than any other museum we came across on the other beaches. A bit overwhelming to see it all.

Amazing museum so full of facts and memorabilia. We were there visiting the beaches and thought we would give the museum a go and so glad we did. Quality 2/3 hours spent wandering about and reading about the landings. Well, well worth visiting.

One of 5 Normandy (Normandie) D-Day landing sites that are a must see. Start at the British beaches Sword, Juno, then Gold. Drive to the Point Du Hoc and see what those crazy Rangers had to do there and then start your journey to the...More

We're hoping to tour the D-Day beaches, is it OK to bring the dog onto the beach at Utah? I know he can't go in the museum. Thanks.
