We stayed in a gite nearby and enjoyed driving into Port-en-Bessin to enjoy strolling along the streets and watching the local watermen on their boats. It is tranquil and relaxing, simply a charming place to visit and forget what is happening elsewhere. Charming!

Calm and picuresque little fishing village, ideal for arly morning waks by the sea. The tour Vauban and it's slope full of sea shells are a must

Lucky to be staying in a gite so close to this lovely port. A small range of shops but plenty of restaurants at all price levels. Market day on a Sunday morning is a must!

This is a quaint little town. There is plenty of free parking & you can stroll out to the harbor barriers for some magnificent views. My wife & I enjoyed our walk around town.

Visited in the high of the holiday period. There are quite a few tourists but the town isn't overrun. You can still find a parking space here. Free parking, not even time limited. Tourists means several places to eat and drink, mainly around the harbour....More

We were living a km inland and this was our go to place for getting food in the evening. There is around 10-20 resturants to choose from. After your dinner I would recomend a walk on the pier or the bech going east.
