The canyoning (advanced level) was most definitely one of the highlights of our Croatia trip.
The experience with Adventures-Omîs was great: starting at really prompt, helpful and friendly communication ahead of time to the canyoning adventure itself.
We really appreciated the professional approach of the guides who had the right amount of patience and they gave those who were a bit scared the right support.
Plus most of them are locals so it was interesting to talk to them about the area around and the culture.
We’ve done some canyoning in Austria before so compared it was especially nice because of the wonderful, exotic landscape, the size of the canyon and especially because the water was relatively warm which made the swimming extra fun.
One thing that took a tiny little bit away from the experience was the size of the group as we did most of the canyoning combined with people from the basic level. I didn’t exactly count but we were probably close to 30 people most of the time.
But of course we understand that it’s probably unavoidable as they depend on good conditions and also want to keep the price low.

We really enjoyed canyoning! We were picked up and driven to the start where we were greeted by our guides, Ivo and Josip. They both spoke very good English, were very informative and made us feel safe at all times. After being given the wetsuits, shoes, helmets, vests and harnesses we were driven for a couple more minutes to the starting point where guides briefed us. We then walked down to the river, it was quite a steep descent, but not scary at all as there were ropes to hold onto. Once we reached the river our guides gave us instructions on what to do in rapids and double checked our equipment to make sure it was all good. They always told us what to expect beforehand so we felt very safe and there were no unpleasant surprises. Also, those doing advanced canyoning always had an option B in case they changed their mind and didn’t want to do abseils, so no one was under pressure to do anything they didn’t want to. We also had an option do to cliff jumping which was very fun. It was a bit tiring, but definitely worth it! Plus, the views were absolutely stunning! I would highly recommend canyoning to everybody, I had no previous experience and wasn’t very fit, but was still able to easily do advanced canyoning! All in all, we had the best time!

I did Zipline and Canyoning on Cetina river. Adventure Omiš crew is amazing, kind, helpful and attentive. The nature is incredibly gorgeous; soak in every second you get while going through the route. Whichever activity you opt for, you will not regret one bit of it. I could spend all day writing about my impressions, but I recommend it far more you go there and experience everything for yourself!

We (family of four with two young teen boys) went on two trips with the Adventure Omiš team - the first was kayaking 6km down the Cetina river to the sea; the second was canyoning along a stretch of river further up. Marianella the lead guide spoke excellent English and was always clear in her instructions - and always smiling as she gave them! She also takes fantastic photos. We thoroughly enjoyed both trips, and loved the awesome scenery in the river canyon. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing canyoning adventure with family, kids aged 11, 14 and 16. Highly recommend this action packed trip. Jerry and his team, who seem to thoroughly enjoy it themselves keep you safe while pushing you to your limits with some high jumps and abseils.

The trip was well organised with very helpful and clear instructions with options for basic or more advanced routes so all very flexible. the staff were friendly and apprpoachable and skilled in their work so it all felt very safe. i would thoroughly recommend the trip for anyone visiting the area

We went canyoing ...large group of 9 so both basic and advanced. Very well organized. An amazing experiance...the guides on our trip where outstanding with a excellent fokus on giving us all a good trip. All in our group anounced it to be the best aktivity on our vacation and all praised the staff.

It was a windy day but luckily it was pushing us along. Beautiful scenery as we paddled down the river, past cormorants, mallards, coots and dabchicks. Even spotted a turtle. The shipwreck off the beach was fascinating - 70 years since it sank. Plenty of fish milling around. The wind really picked up as we finished the tour, which made for an exciting finish. We ended up having to take the kayaks onto a small, earlier beach as we fought through the squall. Would definitely recommend - all the staff were incredibly friendly.

Very well organised and all of staff really helpful. We arranged a pick up from Makarska and all went smoothly with great communication.
Our instructor, Tony, was excellent and the canyon is stunning.

What a phenomenal time!!! My brother and I booked this last night and have no regrets. We booked it on a Sunday which is apparently a slow day because it was just the 2 of us and 2 guides on the trip. The water was comfortable. The weather was perfect and the experience was amazing. Neither of us had repelled before and that alone was worth the money.
