Excellent morning with wonderful guides. I recommend booking for early in the morning (we went at 7.30) as it can get really hot up in the hills.
I was a bit nervous as I'd read online that the guides were really unpleasant often, so I I was dreading getting grumpy guides. In the end we were VERY lucky to have Rocco and Alfie (the other two guides were really rude and unpleasant in the few short minutes we had preparing).
Alfie and Rocco are extremely safety conscious, as well as being nice people. (PS they should get a raise!)

We sent our 6 teenagers and older children on the zipline but we were lucky to be invited to join the group until the first line. This was a bit of a climb but we had fun watching the group go off on what is the longest wire. There were some nerves in the party but everyone had a great time. It was well organised and we were impressed with the guides.

This was sooo much fun! Was a bit apprehensive beforehand but I needn't have been. Everything is explained very clearly by the instructors, they were very professional and safety is the priority it should be. The views from the lines are amazing with the mountains as a backdrop and the river far below. There was great camaraderie within the group (diverse ages and nationalities) with everyone sharing how they found each wire, encouraging each other, saying well done etc. I was very scared before the first wire (which is the longest, highest, fastest!) but the instructors give you the opportunity to ride tandem with them if you're nervous. I did do it alone and it was amazing - once you've done the first one the rest is a breeze! You even have the opportunity on one of the lines to ride with a partner. Even if you think this is outside your comfort zone, just do it, you won't regret it!!

Hired gear for via ferrata from Zipline having been advised by the company that it takes an hour, was very simple and suitable for children. We are a family of 5 with an 11 year old. The via Ferrata actually took 4 hours, with some tricky sections - which is consistent with online reviews (reviewed on our return). The via Ferrata is actually very good if properly prepared for it being 3 to 4 hours. Thankfully my 11 year old daughter didn’t freak out half way up, as I’m not sure how we would have gone up or down. A very nice walk / scramble but very poor advice from Zipline.

An absolute pleasure, from start to finish.
The reception staff were polite and helpful and the instructors were friendly and gave excellent instruction. Instruction tends to be given in English.
Please be aware, there is some uphill walking on rocky terrain involved.

Can't argue with the other reviews in this in terms of the view etc. It's stunning.
But on the day we arrived an instructor who was in a bad mood took it out on everyone.... Beginning at the training session. He made people so uncomfortable, he targeted and picked on people asking, if English was their first language, if they are able to hear, if they are able to see. He was disgusting. Truly ruined the experience for a lot of people in my group as we were spilt into two. Especially those who were nervous.

Dont recal his name but another instructor said he had lost some cycling race the previous day.

Dear We are very sorry and would like to apologise for the conduct of the guide who led you on our Zipline tour. Such behaviour on the part of the guide was inadmissible and unprofessional. His actions left the remainder of us surprised and shocked that this could have happened on our Zipline. We have had a serious exchange of words with the guide in question and have done everything to ensure that such conduct is never repeated. We are aware that our Zipline rating is essentially a rating of the professional and commited work of the guides. Many of the top reviews that were rated a 5 on TripAdvisor were because our guests were very pleased with the work and kindness of the Zipline guides. If you come to Croatia and Omis again, we would be delighted if you would come and visit the Zipline as our guest. We hope you will be relaxed and fully enjoy the trip across the Cetina canyon. Yours respectfully, Drazan Mimica Manager

This was a very well organized and safely run excursion. We were picked up on time by a driver at our hotel in Split and driven a half hour to the office in Omis. We had already paid half and we paid the balance in cash with no problems. We were driven in a van up the mountain with other people and introduced ourselves so we were with 3 Canadian couples and 1 British couple. Some had done it before in Whistler while there were also newbies like me. We walked a bit to the training area and went through the safety precautions as well as a short practice run. We then had to walk further up to the first zipline and I was stunned but surprisingly not as scared as I expected when I saw that we were 2000 feet above ground on the side of a mountain. I am pretty scared of heights but my wife really wanted to do this. They said the first zipline is the longest at 700 meters and you can go up to 60 km per hour. For anyone who is scared, you better go with the first guide or you'll be left there by yourself. You see the first guide go by himself for about 40 seconds and then you realize there really is no turning back. When it was my turn, I didn't relax and got stuck halfway and started gripping everything tight. My brake was on firmly and I was too far away to hear any yelling clearly. I eventually put pressure on the front and got to the end in about 2 minutes, about 3 times longer than anyone else. I got the hang of it by about the 4th zipline when I sat more upright like in a chair and had my elbows out. At the 6th zipline, you can go in tandem and even take a selfie. The 7th one you can stop halfway through, look at the river below, and then release the brake to continue on. I got nervous and just went all the way without stopping. I was relieved when I got through the 8th and last one. As scared as I was, the cables are completely safe, the guides are really helpful, and it was good to be in a group where everyone else is cheering you on regardless of their expertise. They have times at 9AM and 1PM and it takes almost 3 hours.

We organised this trip ourselves avoiding the expensive tours.
We caught a local bus (number 60) from split costing approx £3 and traveled 50 mins to Omis. The zipline office is centrally located on the river bank. We rang and booked a place the previous day.
On arrival we were taken to the start of the Zipline's.
Be aware there is quite a bit of climbing involved so wear good footwear as the paths are very rocky and steep. Also wear a long pair of shorts as the harness can rub your legs.
The tour lasts approx 2.5 hours and consists of 8 zip wires varying in length and height.
The tour guides were great fun and were happy to help with photographs and any assistance during the trip.

Well worth a visit but take water. All belongings can be carried yourself in your own rucksack or the staff will lend you a bag for your back.

The place is beautiful, the sights are amazing. Only takes 10 minutes to get to in the shuttle bus from Omis. Takes 20 minutes to go through the safety instructions etc, a ten minute walk to the first line (which is really quite easy even for unfit people) and from there on in it's really plain sailing. All easily accessible, not much walking at all, mostly zip-lining. Couple of good long lines and a few shorter ones. The crew were all nice except one guide who seemed like a bit of a d**k. But other than that, can't fault the experience and would recommend to any one, young, old, families, couples.
