A beautiful quaint square at the end/start of the restaurants and shops in the old town. We stayed in a house overlooking the square. It was full of the hustle and bustle of life day and night. Not great if you are looking for peace and quiet but perfect if you like to be in the middle of everything. There’s a restaurant, shops and tourist booking stations throughout the square.

As you meander between the little alleyways, you come out to this town square with the church in the background. Thoughts of what it might have been like with pirates walking around. There are plenty of spots to sit and sip on a coffee whilst enjoying the crowds passing by.

So much charm and beauty. Roaming the streets of Split and "getting lost"....no other way to travel this part of Croatia.

You can't really claim to have visited Omis if you haven't visited St Michael's Square and sipped a beer in one of its many cafes during the heat of the afternoon while watching the world go by. The Square appears to be the epicentre of the old town and in the summer it's charming, clean, vibrant and 'the place to be' for an evening or afternoon stroll. You can avoid the sometimes busy main street completely by getting lost in its many little walkways and avenues, each one seeming to offer even more cafes and eateries than the last. You can easily spend a very pleasant couple of hours here, more if you get diverted to a café. Enjoy!!

St. Michael's Square came to life in the evening! At around 7pm, there's a real bubble and lively atmosphere. We sat outside one of the bars with a drink, soaking it all up. Very pleasant and worth a stroll to, you a get a real feel of the village/town.

The old town and St. Michael's Square have lots of good restaurants and small souvenir shops to see. They are filled with small alleys to explore.

This square is in the middle of Omis. Many restaurants, bars and shops all over. A pretty good place to break your journey down the dalmatian coast and enjoy the flavors of this small but pretty town.

St. Michael Square is located in Omis, a little bad very tiny town in Dalmatian coast, in Croatia. It is in the old town, where you can see a lot of very nice buildings, churches and a fortress. It is one of the squares, where there are the church with the homonymous name, some bars and also there is a local atmosphere. Very good place to walk and drink or eat something.

Small place with great atmospere... Find some bar, drink coffee (we chose I Gemelli), eat and enjoy the moment. It is also great stop before running up to Peovica (viewpoint in ruins of old castle).
