Had a great morning on the zip wires, heavy wind and rain at the top made it a bit of a hairy experience at the start. Weather cleared up as we made our way down. Good instructions, simple for anyone, sky tram up, 6 zip lines down with a bungee type jump (totally safe) or rappel down.

The degree you can enjoy this adventure depends highly on the weather And the day you plan for it. If you want to see the volcano in Arenal and the lake on the opposite side and as far as the human eye is capable of seeing and registering the green forest, the blue sky and the white patches of cloud in the distance in your memory, then choose a clear and sunny day, which by the way is a big challenge on its own, because you can hardly have the chance to enjoy a full day with no clouds and a little bit of rain, especially in Monte Verde. So, my suggestion is to have a light weather proof raincoat, a binocular, and a camera and go for it any day you can. My wife and I went in a rainy day with thick clouds and lots of rain. We were unable to see a lot, while in the tram, but walking through the jungle and stopping to see, hear and touch the wild life and passing through the hanging bridges we were lucky enough to have partial sunny sky to compensate for the wind and the rain we had later. Having said all that, we enjoyed the variety of the activities and the adventure this tour had to offer and I should mention that you do not need to b an avid hiker for this activity. Pura Vida.
