Lovely few hours on Tortuga

We went on Tortuga December 2015 and decided to go again when we visited Tambor May 2016. Boat ride was very good, we didn't snorkel this time but just hung out on beach. Very... read more

We had a great day! We stayed at the Marriott in Los Suenos Resort and the Costa Cat catamaran is docked right in the Los Suenos marina so it was an easy walk from our room to the dock. We arrived at 7:30am and were treated with coffee, juice and breakfast baked goodies. Captain Jim Kitchell had the engines fired... More

After a scuba or snorkel you can decide what you want to do. Dance, swim or sun bathed, your choice but whatever you decide you will truly enjoy. Beautiful island with beautiful view.

We went on Tortuga December 2015 and decided to go again when we visited Tambor May 2016. Boat ride was very good, we didn't snorkel this time but just hung out on beach. Very pretty sand and water. Do bring beach shoes as sand gets hot and there are patches of stones. Water is good to swim in. You should... More

What's not to love about this lovely boat ride and to arrive on a white sand beach in the early morning and then by noon there is wall to wall people. YIkes!!!! A lovely island and we went early in the morning and left about 2 pm as there was too many people. There is great snorkelling and a souvenir... More

Beautiful beach easy to swim and lounge around. Snorkelling was great too. Got to see lots of fish. The island is nice, but a bit of a tourist trap. Once you arrive to the island be ready to chill on the beach or in the water unless you are prepared to pay 40/20mins on a wave runner. We packed our... More

We had an amazing day at the island. Snorkeling was great. The beach had white sand and the water was a beautiful green. Tips: 1. The souvenir shop charges to use the restroom. The restroom costs 500 colones or about 1 dollar and it isn't the regular flushing type. You have to fill it up with water and pump it... More

amazing. Fabulous. PURA VIDA EXPEDITIONS AND JAVIER ARE AMAZING. My husband and my two 16 year old twin boys traveled to Costa Rica in December of 2015. Before going I researched and researched what do in Costa Rica. I was on trip advisor and Javier from PURA VIDA EXPEDITIONS popped numerous times. Every single review was amazing. So I reached...
