Unfortunately I have had the worst experience ever in Summit Golf Club for several reasons:
1)we were two people in the flight. There were flight of 5 people before us. It is unbelievable that we couldn’t pass them. The game was so slow (4h45min for 14 holes and then I went home...).
2)I was here with my wife. It is first time in my life that my wife is not allowed to watch few holes on a golf course.
3)My wife had a massage. The women doesn’t speak English so she doesn’t allow (either understand) that my wife wanted to take sauna. She was told to go out after the massage.

Sorry but I spent around 6000 bahts (180 EUR) and it is ok but the service and experience we got was really really bad.

We had played this course a number of times in the pre-COVID days. it was always a pleasure and the course used to be in good condition. Total change now. Some greens were under maintenance (excusable) but others were in rather deplorable state, many bunkers were in disgusting state, with torn plastic sheets making the sight and play very challenging. fairways need to be maintained better as well. while one of the caddies was quite up to the task, the other spent most of the time on the mobile phone and several times sat in the cart while we were on the green putting and trying on our own to read the lines.
For the princely price they are charging, definitely a course to avoid.

Great course, great caddies. Marshall came up to us at the end and said our ball hit another cart and we have to pay $700 repair. See photo of the alleged damage.

Nice game of golf but too hard to find. You cannot get a taxi out of the resort for one hour. I enjoyed the round but the time was ridiculous for the cost. Two people almost 400 USD and I cannot get a taxi. They have serious work to do. They should lower the cost dramatically to compensate for the expectation.

I've played this course a dozen times. Unfortunately each time has been plagued by slow play experiences. However, this week was the worst.

Windmill is a great track. Unlike so many other courses around BKK it's not flat all over. Instead it has gentle undulation and eleveation cganges on many holes. No two hples look or play the same.

The disappointment is with the number of golfers that they book on the course, the tee-time intervals being too short, and the fact that play is never Marshalled to keep the pace of play play of groups up to 'normally acceptable standards'.

Tee times at 10 minute intervals - if you've ever played golf on a course in most of Asia, then you'll know that virtually no 'local' golfer plays to that speed. Nor do they have any awareness of faster players behind - not that there's ever much space in front to wave faster players through.

When there are 3-4 groups of players standing waiting at the 1st and 10th tees then one knows it's going to be a slow round.

My experience this week was the worst ever. 2 hours and 50 minutes to complete 9 holes of golf. Totally rediculous.

To the credit of the staff on the Pro Shop, including the on-duty course manager, I was given approx half my 18 hole green fee back when I complained that I could not complete the round as I didn't have enough time to be spending 6 hours on a golf course.

The apparent greed of the club to maximise green fee revenues, thus packing in way too many golfers at a time, is the root cause of the problem. Compounded by the typicall slow play of so many ....

This review is for the golf course only and not the hotel. I played here while on vacation. The course was in very good shape when I played. Water came into play on several holes so it was challenge from that standpoint. The greens were good shape but they were a little bumpy.in spots. The staff in the clubhouse and the starter were top notch. I had a caddy by the name of Ning that did a great job. She was informative on yardage. She let me know what my targets should be. She was nice and kept things light hearted. They had night golf, but I prefer playing in the morning.

I always love playing at summit at night but I always face three things: (1) it always rains heavily for a few holes during part of the night; (2) I always have to wait for slow players; and. (3) the caddies always seem tired and disinterested. The course seems worn down, even when sheltered by the cover of darkness but this could have something to do with my balls going where they shouldn't and allowing me to see the less pristine areas of the course. However the experience of playing at night is just fantastic. One of my clients told me it was one of the best golfing experiences he had had and he's played all over the world including a number of top US and top European courses. Who am I to argue.... I just love being able to walk around and play gold in the cool of the night. Or just the cool.

We played at night and had a great evening of golf. Not so happy about having to pay to play a very short course though. I had the BEST caddy alive today!! #231 made my night with laughter and knowledge. All my friends enjoyed the entire night with all the caddies, and our friends that followed our group that being our last night. Complete facilities with all services you desire..

Enjoyed a great game of golf with my son, the course layout has some easy holes and some requiring more accuracy, great for golfers of varied skill levels. The caddies we had made the day all the more fun, the condition of the course was also very good. The course has floodlighting so an evening round is possible. Unfortunately we did not have time to play more, never mind, next time.
