Bamboo Museum
May 2021 • Family
A well maintained bamboo eco-park and museum. Ideal for families. The bamboo museum has interesting bamboo artifacts, depicting the historical connection between bamboo and the Chinese way of life. There are red pandas and giant pandas in medium enclosures. We enjoyed the fresh air and green landscapes. We visited in June over the Dragon Boat festival and it was not crowded.

Run-down and depressing

All the bamboos are actually fenced so you don't actually walk through bamboos or something; don't worry, you are fenced too. So you just walk along the paved path, greeted by random stuff like mechanical bull, small animal shows, bamboo rafts and boats on (you guessed it!) artificial lake. There are few pandas, which is probably the only relatively good reason to go there. There is also some small animal show with parrots, naturally designed to separate you from another 10 kuai, like all of the things you will stumble upon.

There is also a bamboo museum inside, not particularly interesting either.

The admission for this "attraction" is 80 RMB. LOL.
