Nice park, bamboo plants everywhere, an interesting museum with bamboo objects and descriptions. They have two or three Panda bears in cages, also a parrots show. Those two last things a sad spectacle.

A few miles away from Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province ,2hrs drive from Shanghai lies an enormous park, beautifully kept ,well organised exhibit on the history and importance of the bamboo in Chinese history . More than 400 varieties of bamboos are on display in the midst of a botanical garden which includes 2 Pandas as well .But the main interest is to learn how important and significant the bamboo has and still is in the Chinese culture and economy . A wonderful experience for grownups and kids. Excellent guides are available .

80 RMB per adults and 40 RMB for kids below 1.3 meters
We went there to see the panda.
The only thing we saw was two depressed panda. What a bad image !!
Apart of this, the park is huge and .... empty
I would not recommend to anybody

Came here with hubby and 5 year old. The entrance promises so much but sadly not a lot going on. The gardens and bamboo lovely with a super lake. Red pandas on show but not black and white.
Was a nice way to wonder about, but struggled to find food or much to entertain a 5 year old. Older children may have enjoyed it more.

Panda's are ill treated . Gardens are ill maintained. Simply a waste of time and money. Go to bamboo sea for a more magnificent natural experience.

As a conservationist, this place was very special to me.It gave me a chance to look at how conservation is done, away from what I am used to,back in Africa! It is such a special place.
