If you don’t want the crowds of Moganshan but still want the cool mountains and green bamboo covered mountains, I recommend Anji. There are beautiful hikes, the town is clean. One of the best things to do is the river rafting. I was skeptical but it’s set up to in a canyon full of clear water pools you can float down and even swim in.
