Enjoyed a lovely walk around the lake with a friend, some great scenery and very nice to relax and enjoy the views. Ended up walking for around 2 hours!

It´s really nice place but.... too expensive. The second big MINUS is: This is a natural scene, but no dogs allowed to enter :( They provide dog boxes on the entry. But this room is first very dirty and second are the boxes not really convidient. Was one time there....was also the last time!

I traveled the lake on 7 April 2016. I went to the theme park “Shake Lake” that had to pay RMB80 for the entrance fee. It was the spring season that many flowers were planted within the park. Besides, travelers were advised to listen the show of Suzhou Tanci “蘇州彈詞” which last about 10 to 15 minutes.

I visited Shang Lake for a couple of hours on March 26th…I mention the date only because we were about 1 week too early to see all of the flowers in full bloom. There are some signs in English, but was happy to have a Chinese host to interpret for us. It is a very large park with mostly paved... More

I cycled here from the crowne plaza hotel one sunday and was glad to find the cafe, on the south side of the bridge across the lake. I would take a taxi. There is a park(admission fee) and small commercial area nearby , but like most of changshu they have built it and are hoping people will come for tourism.... More

Below the cliffs in Changshu lies Shanghu Lake. A beautiful flower park is situated on Islands in the lake
