Ajai Game Reserve is at least 4 hours by road from Gulu. It is found in Arua District, about a 40 minute drive from Arua Town. The animal population there was depleted by poaching and a concession was given to a private company in 2008...More

We drove through the park for almost 2 hours and did not see a single animal, until we were almost out and we saw three baboons. It was the end of the dry season, so a local guide said most animals had left the park...More

It is open to visitors, but the last time we were there (April 2017) we didn't see any animals, except 3 baboons when we were leaving the park!
