This little vineyard packs an authentic punch! The tasting room located within the main house is inviting and real - no pretentiousness here! Blair is one of a kind - as are the wines! The setting is charming and create one of those 'moments' that...More

The owner gave us all the history of the vineyard and let us sample all of his wines. He was very kind and informative. The wine is good but the gardens are even better. It had a small town lure with bib city wines

A delightful vineyard situated in an interesting and picturesque area. The wines more than live up to their reputation, and the individual attention you get when visiting allows an informed choice. Try their mailing list-- although this does lessen the reasons to visit!

In short if you are wanting to experience what central Otago wine is all about and why we kiwis rave about it then Bald Hills is a must. There entire range is excellent and worth traversing. Blair and Estelle are great hosts and welcoming.
