The place is amazing, sandy beach, not too crowded, beautiful scenery, little kiosk with food, there is a hotel and restaurant on top of the cliff, free parking around the beach.

We stayed in the dog-friendly Botany Bay Hotel so this was a great place to walk the dog. 2 minutes from the hotel but very peaceful and still on the beach - however it was a weekday in late December!! Lovely weather so the views were stunning. An easy hour spent walking around the chalk cliffs but be careful as... More

Meal paid for by daughter as a treat as previous meals have been good. Menu has changed and not for the better. Lobster and prawn bisque @ £6.95 no more than over powering flavoured water tasting of crab no hint of prawns or lobster served with hair in the cream. Steak burger, burnt buns, burger bland and over cooked. The... More

Visited in October. Beautiful views over the channel and great for dog walking. Nice and quiet and you can walk for a long way around the cliff.

Cool place to visit, we could've walk around for hours, there were lots of plaes around to explore, I bet we haven't found all :) And the coast has one of the greatest tides in the world

We have just spent the last two nights here. The staff are very friendly and helpful; the food was excellent and the surrounding area stunning. Our puppy had a lovely time too.

Miles of fine sand suitable for a long walk along the sea when the sun is out. Make sure you get a local map from the Botany Bay hotel restaurant on the top first. There are actually quite a few local attractions around in the area.
