You can drive up in the car for the best views of the Wye valley or as some have said a good trek for the fit and healthy.

I came here as a kid and remember the walk up from the village to the view point took all day and was stupidly steep. . May be 35 years later i'm fitter than i though . You could easily spend the whole day doing the various walks and to see a Nuthatch at the view point after seeing a... More

Walked from Symonds Yat East up to the ' Rock ' Views from the top especially on a day like today were stunning. Then watched the canoer's doing the slalom. Great way to spend a couple of hours.

Well, this is an amusement park but it is very much dead depending on the time of day you go. It isn't very often that rides are actually going on! We have been to Symonds Yat a few times for Canoe hires which have been great fun. The park also does canal tours which can be a good family outing

Simply a lovely view. Not sure why it's called a "leisure park" as there's only a small shop for food and beverages. But all in all a nice place for a walk.

A walk or drive to Yat Rock is a must. Take the short walk keeping the tea rooms on you right, and take the Red Route to the top of a rock location. The views of the river are breathtaking, and made me glad to be alive. If enjoy a scroll or fairly arduous walking in fantastic countryside, this place... More

My wife uses a mobility scooter and the path was flat all the way from the car park to the viewing rock, if a little steep in places. The views are spectacular and not to be missed if you are in the area. The road leading there traverses a single lane narrow bridge over the river and is quite twisty... More

We called here the same day that we had been to the Forest of Dean, so the car park fee covered both places. £3.50 is a bit steep if you only want to visit for half an hour. The cafe at the top was average. There is a steep walk down to the water level, where there is an over-priced... More

This popular tourist attraction offers spectacular views over the Wye Valley, especially when skies are clear. It's slightly off the beaten track, but well worth seeking out.
