We booked in for the 11-00 tour in English though it was 17-50 euro it was well worth it.
The Building where the tasting was held is a beautiful new building attached to the winery itself and we were met with the guide and started with a glass of fizz ( from the must) .
We were led around the production area by a very knowledgeable guide while the grape harvest was being delivered and it was interesting to see the process of the making of the wine.
The winery produces Albariño exclusively so this is a white wine tasting only.
We were taken to a tasting room to try 3 glasses of wine with some local delicacies.
This is where our guide came into her own explaining how to taste the wines in a way that we were able to appreciate the wines both before and after food. I have been on a WSET course and a good few tastings in the past and she was the best educator by a mile so we really enjoyed the experience and I dare say learned a little Lon how to taste and appreciate wine.

We signed up for a midday tour and had a great time. Our guide asked our preferred language (english in this case) and gave us an awesome tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, professional, and entertaining. The tasting was great and the outdoor terrace was an awesome place to hang out. Quick, easy, affordable, and fun - would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

If you are intressted in wine testing it is ok, even though the guide talked and talked to get the time running (?). We had booked and paid (15 EUR per person) for a wine testing and a tour of the production. The tour of production did not happened and the excuse used was that “they are working”. They should have told us when we booked the tour as it was booked only the day before. The buildings and the view is really nice and looks really exspensive.

We are spending a week in Galicia (Sanxenxo) wonderful part of the world but that’s not for now. We heard of Martin Codax back in Ireland and enjoyed it and wanted to know more. We booked only two days in advance and €15 per person for 90 minutes was very reasonable.
It’s a windy trip up into the mountains but worth the 20 min drive from Sanxenxo.
We arrived and checked in there were 7 others on the tour that arrived sporadically. The tour started with a sparkling wine introduction from a very friendly and knowledgable young guide who’s name to my shame I forget in perfect English.
She gave us some brief history of the winery and her own experience from her grandfather who was a vine grower and proceeded to guide us through the winery (45 mins approx).
After there was a wine tasting again for 45 mins 3 wines with 3 accompanying cheeses (I am not a cheese fan by any means) but the tasting was very enjoyable and informative the difference in the wine with the cheese and without was incredible!!.
At the end of the tour we got a chance to buy some wine at very reasonable prices (especially compared to Ireland) and went on our way. We would have bought more wine but our checked bag isn’t that big and the only minor flaw we would have loved to buy wine and ship home like my wife did in Italy. But that is nit picking.Thorougly enjoyed our time and definitely appreciate Albariño’s more!!
P.S. the olfactory test is much harder than you might think!!!

This was an amazing place. Went there to taste the wine, which was great, but I fell in love with the view. And the service was fantastic. Great people. If you are in the area this is a good place to visit in the evening with your loved one or friends. They do food and wine pairing as well.

We did the English tour with Maria which lasted for slightly over a hour (I think, as we were not keeping track of time). She was knowledgeable and friendly, and she conducted the tour perfectly. The tour itself and the items covered were very interesting for us. Highly recommended if you’re in or around the area!

I have been buying Martín Códax Albariño for many years in the US as it is my very favorite white wine, so I was excited to have the chance to visit their beautiful bodega in Galicia, overlooking the very picturesque village of Cambados. My husband and I took a private taxi from our hotel in Santiago de Compostela and did a tour and tasting with one other couple. Our guide was Spanish (sorry I don’t recall her name) and spoke English flawlessly. She gave us a really excellent and informative step by step explanation of how Albariño wine is produced from the gorgeous grapes grown in the region. She also provided us with a nice history of the winery and how the wine got its name. Our tasting at the end was done outside in a lovely area with a view of the Rias Baixas in the distance. We had a great time! Gracias!!

We had a tour in English with two other couples and were given a good description of the wine making process. There were plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Our guide, Paula, then guided us through the tasting process making sure we were using our sight, smell and taste to judge the wine. I've been on a lot of wine tours before and I think this was the most informative tasting that I have done.

We drove their by car and found the winery easily. It was about twenty minutes from Pontevedra.

My mom and I did the tour during a weekday when they opened for the day. We were the only two on our tour. Our guide was amazing, she kept my attention for the whole tour and was really personable and friendly. I think we went over the allotted time because the tour was so good. This was also the first wine tasting where I felt like I was understanding how to apply my senses to the tasting, because again, our guide was that good. The views are amazing, the wine is great. You can get their Albarino in the states. Take me back, please.
