The beach is clean, and perfect plan for a sunny day. It is recommended to be aware of the tides. Essential.

One of the best Cantabrian beaches
Jun 2019 • Couples
A wide, fine-sand, half-mile long, Blue Flag beach located in the trendy resort town of Comillas. Excellent for swimming, sailing, and windsurfing.

A working fishing port with a difference
May 2019 • Couples
We stopped here today and it’s stunning

Great port to watch the fishermen come in with their catch

Also to watch the older generation of retired fishermen passing their time having a coffee and brandy and putting the world to rights

Great views of the beach
Oct 2018
We did not go onto the beach itself but admired the beauty of sand and sea from a vantage point overlooking the beach. In the morning light the sand seemed to glow and the sea was a gorgeous blue. Definitely worth a visit!

This is a good sized beach with fine sand which shelves gently so is ideal for families as well as general beach enjoyment!

Great strolling place

This beach is a typical summersite for spanish families during the summer. Cosy beach with white sand. If you like to bodyboard there is a good wave on the right side of the beach

Nice beach.

Comillas beach can get busy, and thats because its good. Its safe and clean.
Seaweed washed can be an issue, but its cleared up by the beach cleaners. The children loved the rock pools when tide goes out, and the waves when the tide comes in, great for body boarding. Avoid La Pergola restaurant/bar, disappointing food. Life guards always on duty and very attentive.
