At one end of the town a river drops down into the bay area, the local authority have created a very attractive river walk that takes you up through some nice scenery and historical view points such as the old town bridge (built by the devil according to local legend) and to an old mill about a kilometre upstream. There... More

Bizarre experience at first as you don't expect something quite so tranquil, but peaceful nonetheless. Walk up till the bridge and find a wealth of fruit and veg patches with sun kissed oranges, and ducks and geese (even saw some ducklings waddling about!) don't forget to bring some bread rolls from breakfast!!! Worth the time to have a mossie around.... More

We had a lovely walk along the riverside and learned alot from the informative boards which you come across every so often and also from the nice little visitor centre which houses a working (water-driven) flour mill. We started our walk where the river meets the sea at the southern end of the maritime promenade, near hotel Riomar. Try and... More

I first visited Santa Eulalia in 1971 and it was beautiful then. I was expecting to find it very different in 2016 and although it is more commercial with many many more hotels, shops and restaurants it hasn't lost is magic. It's a beautiful place to visit and there is a lot to see. Our walking group walked all over... More

The river walk is located at one end of SE bay about 100 yds past the Riomar hotel. This is a lovely walk along by the river. Good footpath with lots of seating if you need to stop. Signposted in sections with interesting history of the immediate area provided. In one section there were a number of ducks/geese with all... More

We found this by accident while we were looking for Puig de La Missa. River is well tended, full of birds and fish, a pretty bank side walk regular tourist info boards pointing out the unique wildlife, and a pretty waterfall..

This river walk at the west end of Santa Eulalia is a pleasant change from the business of the town centre. It points you in the direction of the Iglesia del Puig de Missa. (the big church on the hill) A steady walk along the del Rio brings you eventually to a small waterfall area where you can feed the... More

short for a keen walker but very picturesque and a nice way to see parts of the town away from the front. Unfortunately the mill was closed (nearly everything seems to be closed in November!) but this was a nice walk that easily encompasses the church/castle also.
