Walked up the hill from Santa Eulalia centre. About 100 steps in all, but not steep. The views were predictably superb, covering the inland hills, resort, sea and river. The unusual church and cemetery were worth a look (free entrance) , and the narrow streets and alleys weaving past people's whitewashed houses were very photogenic. The clean public toilets beneath the church were a bonus, but there aren't any shops so bring a water bottle when it's hot.

This beautiful church is definitely not to be missed when visiting the Santa Eulalia area . It can be accessed via the town or along the river walk at the bridge down the bottom end of the beach area. ( opposite end to the marina)
Although there are numerous steps to go up to the church when going via the very lovely river walk it is worth every step . ( well sign posted)
Once inside , the church is adorned with numerous religious statues which are superb. Outside you will be surprised with the fantastic panoramic views of the country side on one side and the marina and fabulous sea views on the other .
There is also in the same area which is signposted a museum which is worth a visit. For a fee of 2 euros per person you will be greeted with some interesting facts of Ibizan history at its best .

Walked up here from Siesta. It was a steep enough hill to the top but was worth the effort for the view of Santa Eulalia and the lovely church. The church opens daily from 10-1 and there is mass on a Sunday morning at 10.

We are keen walkers so the uphill climb to Puig de Missa wasn't too bad. Walk to the end of the promanade, turn right, follow the river to the Roman Bridge, from there you have two options. Cross the main road and walk up steep steps ( which look like they go to a house but there is a sign for the Puig ) or follow the river walking route which takes you along a small country lane and a slight incline up to the Puig. Very beautiful, wonderful views, quiet and peaceful. The cemetary is well worth a visit, it isn't morbid, it is bright, colourful and soulful. The interior of the church with the various statues is just gorgeous. Well worth a visit.

small white church on a tiny hill which overviews Santa Eulalia del Rio, charming interieur, but nothing exceptional, perhaps worth visiting being around there

It’s a good walk to this church, please walk to it, via the river walk, it gets the blood pumping but once there you will soon find the way back down. Sorry for all you church lovers, but I just don’t get it. Still, great views.

If you would like to have an enjoyable 30minute walk, this is the right place. I suggest to do it at the end of the day, when the sun is setting. Highly recommendable despite you may climb some stairs.

This is well worth the climb, the views over Santa Eularia alone are worth it. Plus the quiet little church is beautiful.
