(This experience occurred in August 2018, which was not offered in the drop down list.) If you are a photographer, this is the BEST way to see Dalsnibba and the beautiful scenery on the way to the summit. If you take a bus, (1) it doesn't stop and (2) you don't get to experience the sights and sounds of a beautiful place. The day that we went was cold and rainy, and I'll warn you that there's no heater in the electric vehicle. However, the experience was one that I'll never forget or regret. After a short, but informative, orientation at the station, you take off for the summit. I was warned to not punch the accelerator to the maximum on the ascent, as there is enough charge in the battery to reach the summit at a moderate speed, but not full speed (there's a gauge on the dash to advise power usage and storage). The vehicle partially recharges as you coast on the descent.

Geiranger was my favorite spot in Norway on our cruise, due in large part to the experience we had exploring in our Ecar! The rental location is just a few steps away from the cruise pier. I recommend getting their early because it is popular when the ship is in port. We were one of the first in line for our car, and planned to do the 3 hour tour, however the associate told us to do the 2 hour because the snow would prevent us from getting up to the glacier. I appreciated their up front honesty versus just letting us pay for the additional hour and being upset upon our return. We loved the voice guided navigation and information, it is more than just a GPS! You'll get a great tour of the beautiful views and the cars feel very safe and secure. My husband drove and I sat in the back, it will have more space than you initially think. I highly recommend this company and tour!

From start to finish a wonderful experience. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the cars were really easy and fun to drive. We had two Twizzys for our family of four (2 adults and 2 children, 12 and 9). We booked them in advance for 3 hours and had the best time. We drove all the way to the Dalsnibba skywalk, and then stopped at a number of other sights on the way down. It was a once in a lifetime experience that I would recommend to everybody.

Sitting at home, planning our Scandinavian holiday, I read about eMobility tours in Geiranger and knew that we had to experience this. So much was our enthusiasm, we looked for alternate options for our return trip from Geiranger to Alesund (we took the Fjord Cruise catamaran in the morning to reach Geiranger) since we wanted to do Mt. Dalsnibba in a Renault Twizy and return well in time to catch that bus back to Alesund. So after a quick lunch, we approached the eMobility counter directly (one can also book the tour through the Tourism office near the quay but since it was a Sunday the office had shut early). The lady at the counter informed us that it was overcast and snowing at the top and therefore there may be an issue with the trip i.e. they don't operate under such conditions. She offered us the cheaper tour options nearby (the 1-2 hours ones) but we had our heart set on Mt. Dalsnibba. I guess the disappointments were very apparent on our faces and hence she told us that she will try to check the latest on the weather on top. After a quick call to her boss, who was somewhere at the top, she came back to inform us that she will allow us to hire the car, however there is no guarantee that we will be able to see the spectacular views from the top. Well, we were willing to take our chances..........and so glad that we did ! :-) After a quick instruction as to how to operate the car, we were off driving to Mt. Dalsnibba, of course not before the lady came back hurriedly to caution us that we must drive on the "right" side of the road. ;-) No offence taken since in India we drive on the left. :-)) The Renault Twizy, was fun, easy to operate, with no hitch driving up and we simply loved our "talking car". On our way up, we met numerous others in their Twizys driving down, and sportingly we all waved at each other. When we reached the top, it was still overcast, so we decided to have the most of our time there. Our parked car became the centre of attraction to a Harley Davidson group - they were so bemused with the size of the car and admired its capability to drive all the way up to Mt. Dalsnibba. And as we were chatting, the sky cleared and we got a beautiful view of Geiranger and the surroundings from above. What a fun day....thanks to eMobility, and the lady at their office (should have taken her name - she was absolutely wonderful) and our luck that in the month of May, the tourist office do not operate the tour buses to Dalsnibba on a daily basis (basically they do not operate the tour buses on days that the Fjord cruises arrive in Geiranger, so one needs to stay in the town of Geiranger atleast a night to take that tour bus next morning to Mt. Dalsnibba - well, in a shoulder period that's how one takes care of tourist/ hotel business). After this trip, my advice to all will be to ditch the bus and go for eMobility Twizys if you can drive. I can assure you, you wont regret it.

Hello Kent19 Thank you so much for taking all the time to write this very nice review to us. I am so happy that you had a nice experience with our cars and also for that you rich the top of Dalsnibba, even if the weather was not the best. As a manager I am also proud that you felt that we put safety first for our clients when the weather isn’t on our side and for that my workers (Agnieszka is her name) called me to check if we could let you go there. Welcome back anytime!🙏 Best regards Tomas Bakken Managing Director.

We arrived with a Cruise Ship. Excursions onboard were silly expensive so we choose eMobilty way of travel. 40 minutes ride to the skydeck, then stops on return to make pictures and eat some blueberries. 200 euros for 3h. Worth every cent. Maybe 2 hours can do, but not so peacefully. We really apreciated the blanket from back seat as even if mid August on top of the mountain was chill. We loved the trip and the flexibility to stop and stay as you wish. Staff was helpful, also. Don't miss the blanket if you go to the top even if 20 degree on shore.
