Ravagni since 1421 is a family business which is mentioned for the first time in 1421 at the Florence Archivies and it's included since 1980 in the list of Italian firms. It's pduction oil, wine, vinegar, seasoned oils, soaps, oil based creams and others particular products are handmade and following their season potentiality. The products are not only sold worldwide, but are used by the family itself, family which moved in this area already since the end of the 12th century. We tried and are still trying to keep the working methods as traditional as possible even if many times quality certifications laws and health laws try to bring you to the omologations of perfumes and tastes relatively to the products you normally find in the commerce.Certainly our products are not the best of the Italy but they surely are simple and true. The Proffesor Giacomo Bartolomeiof Ravagni also prints and edits local and Italian history books and not only this.We have real but also virtual shops but we prefer to invite famalies, school and people coming from all over the world in order that they can see, smell and work if they want...

Great experience from start to finish. Francesco is very passionate about his oil production but also very modest. He gives a good explanation of the history and details of the oil production process they use (cold press), and then a short walk along the country...More

Francesco is a wonderful host and obviously passionate about his olive press. Although we were there outside the olive oil production season we got a look round the the kit he uses to make the precious liquid. Then we had a chance to sample the...More

We had a lovely olive oil tasting and delicious lunch here. Francesco was very eager to share his knowledge of olive oil with us. The food and wines were terrific. We especially enjoyed Francesco’s “Experiment” basalmic reduction. Magnifico!

We had the best day yesterday thanks to Francesco's warmth, kindness and hospitality; to the wonderful food served by the loveliest ladies; to the lashings of glorious wine and grappa; to the countless tastings of creamy olive oils - as diverse as peperoncino and fennel;...More

I have had the pleasure of visiting Francesco’s family business twice! I always leave the tour with a full heart and tummy. I buy and use their home made products through out the year. You will never meet someone like Francesco, he has so much...More

We all had the most wonderful lunch at Ravagni and left Francesco with a large order to be shipped back to London in time for Christmas. Countess reminders later and there is still no sign of our order. We would strongly advise others against making...More

We visited Ravagni in June 2017 to see how real Italian Olive Oil is made in the traditional way. The presentation was very interesting, but the best part came afterwards. A tasty Italian dinner was served and we could taste through all the delicious products...More
