Good place. Book if you can.
Really lovely collection of animals, modern air-conditioned building and interesting exhibits. The kids were inspired. There was one about chameleons which was a bit puzzling, we don’t know where the chameleon was. Lovely rescued fox in the back, and wonderful turtle and sharks and rays in the big tank. In all a good 1-2 hours but a little expensive, the family discount is disappointing.

    Lovely Aquarium Trip
Excellent affordable price. All sea creatures had detailed explanations available in a variety of different languages and was overall v informative. It was lovely being able to touch the rays at the end. Would say it was good for all ages and the staff were lovely.

Ben organizzato con molte varietà di pesci e altro, i miei bambini erano entusiasti sopratutto nel vedere gli squali tartarughe e il pesce pagliaccio. Bella struttura e il prezzo d'ingresso non caro.

Compared to others, larger I visited this one is one of the smallest, but has one big central pool. Whole visit was very informative. Price is not so high. Our kids loved "touching" pools, where the ambient was quite hot because there are many windows, but who cares when touching live fish is so much fun.

It took about an hour to go round the acquarium. The building is very light and airy with big display tanks of fish, a turtle, small sharks and coral. A very enjoyable and informative visit.

An interesting aquarium, perfect for families with children. Everything was clearly explained, with lots of lovely fish. The food area needs to be improved. There were very few options. We had a wrap which tasted terrible!

Impressive aquarium for a small town. Great way to escape the hottest part of the day. Very clean and well kept. Friendly staff good facilities.
Interesting exhibits with full signage in Italian and English.
Big tank with sharks rays and a rescued loggerhead turtle was great.

Visited during a storm in Cala Gonone and was underwhelmed. The only real tank of note which had the turtle in was nice, but was slightly disappointed with the aquarium given the price- have been to much better and more interactive aquariums

There is a beautiful, large water tank in the middle of the acquarium with sharks and a turtle. Also, you can (safely) touch small sharks in a special tank. The ticket price is €10 though...a bit too high I think.

I was dubious about visiting after reading the negative reviews here, but I'm glad we ignored them! We were very pleasantly surprised. It's a lovely tranquil and air conditioned experience. The main tank is very impressive, and the smaller tanks very informative. Our 7 year old son loved the touching pool, (as we did too!) and the very friendly Ray. Well worth a visit. Keith

We visited on a windswept day in April when we were virtually the only people there. Our little 3 year old boy is fascinated by all sea creatures and whilst this aquarium is smaller than some you might find he thought it was great. The touching pool was by far and away his favourite bit. The café was great too and everything was really clean
