We had the most amazing 5 days sailing aboard Andreas. From the moment we arrived, our skipper, Antonis, made us feel extremely at home and, despite some adverse weather conditions on the first day, completely safe. Antonis used his intimate knowledge of the local area to guide us to secluded bays with turquoise waters for swimming and snorkelling; private beaches with fig trees and natural slabs of marble; and the tastiest restaurants in the Cyclades. By our last night, which we spent enjoying souvlaki and wine at anchor whilst watching the sun set over Antiparos, we felt like we had gained a new friend. We look forward to returning in the future. It's great to hear that you had an amazing sailing experience aboard Andreas with Antonis as your skipper! I'm glad to hear that Antonis was able to make you feel at home and keep you safe despite some challenging weather conditions. It's wonderful that Antonis was able to share his local knowledge to guide you to beautiful and secluded bays for swimming and snorkeling, private beaches, and the best restaurants in the Cyclades. The last night spent watching the sunset over Antiparos while enjoying souvlaki and wine at anchor sounds like a magical experience. It's always great to hear when guests feel like they have gained a new friend, and I'm sure Antonis feels the same way about you. We look forward to welcoming you back aboard Andreas in the future! Our family of 4 (including 5 and 7 year old kids) travels A LOT. We were supposed to be in South Africa, but at the last minute we unexpectedly had to change our vacation plans. We opted for Greece, and partly to have an "adventure" and partly to socially distance ourselves, we opted to charter a catamaran with Greek Water Yachts. We were lucky to secure the last available boat (Emelia) and its skipper Nikos. Everything was truly perfect. Nikos reaslized straight away that we are not the "stop the boat and jump in the water 10x per day" kind of people, that while we like to visit the beach, just as importantly we like to explore the villages and the islands. He made suggestions to modify the original itinerary due to both weather and also our preferences. We visited Antiparos, Schinoussa, koufonissi, Amorgos, & Paros. Of all the trips I have taken, this trip definitely falls within the top 3. I highly recommend Nikos, Emelia, and Greek Water Yachts for a family looking to experience something different.

We booked a charter for sept 2020, but sadly had to cancel due to covid 19. Apostolos was wonderful from the start. It feels risky to just pick a holiday online & send in your money, but Apostolos was so helpful...I felt very confident in my choice from the beginning. He was always very quick to respond to questions, & our refund came quickly with no problems. We will definitely rebook this trip with GWY as soon as we can & I am looking forward to planning it with Apostolos again.

We booked a catamaran from Paros with Greek water yachts in august 2020 for a family of 4 (2 kids, aged 9 and 11) and it was a lovely experience! The trip was very well organized, the company provided us with all necessary information and details (as it was our first time on a sailing trip), easy to communicate with and a warm welcome awaited us. The captain of the boat (Thanasis) was a very nice and experienced person, good with kids, he respected our privacy and took well care of the catamaran. We had an amazing time in a beautiful region of Greece. Highly recommend this company to book your sailing trip with!

Antonis was better than we could have hoped for in a Captain. We are a family of 4 (including a 5 and 16 year old) that chartered a Beneteau for a 2 week cruise at the peak of the tourist season in August. Even with very busy ports and improv needed to get into tight anchorages, Antonis's knowledge of the area, boating, and the ports/towns still equaled vacation success. He is excellent at reading the different styles and needs of his guests. I highly recommend chartering with Greek Water Yachts. I would suggest avoiding cruising in August though, if I had it to do over. July or September are better choices to still get warm water, but avoiding the largest crowds. September would also have milder winds and not be so doggon hot.

Our family of four, which includes two teenagers, sailed with Greek Water Yachts around the Small Cyclades for four days. We loved every minute of it! Antonis, our captain, was calm, competent and extremely knowledgeable about boating and the islands. We visited places we'd never heard of before, and found that there were interesting surprises everywhere we went. These included beautiful turqouise waters, excellent restaurants serving delicious local food, not-too-scary cliff jumping, great shopping, quaint historical towns, and remote beaches that were only accessible by boat. This trip was incredibly successful because Antonis worked to understand our interests and made sure that there were enjoyable options for all four of us. We would highly recommend GWY to anyone open to new experiences.

You described perfectly what we try to offer: beautiful turqouise waters, excellent restaurants serving delicious local food, not-too-scary cliff jumping, great shopping, quaint historical towns, and remote beaches that were only accessible by boat.

This was the highlight of our trip to Greece and the best way to explore the Cycladic Islands! Everything is upfront and professional with this local company - from booking and payment via email, to the actual sailing and enjoying the beautiful towns and islands. The captain did a fantastic job of giving us space and privacy when wanted and being there to answer questions, recommend restaurants, and coordinate with the local towns for activities during the day. There is no better way to visit the beautiful and slower-paced small Cycladics. Don't miss an opportunity to book a truly unforgettable trip with Greek Water Yachts!

Trip of a Lifetime!
When Greece reopened up to US travelers in April 2021, my wife and I decided to jump on the opportunity! We booked a 5-day trip with Greek Water Yachts and couldn’t be happier with our decision!
Apostolos fielded our initial inquiry and answered all of our questions, mainly surrounding the suitability of a sailing charter for our two daughters, ages 7 & 4. Apostolos was organized and timely with all of his responses throughout the booking process.
The charter was captained by Antonis. We were lucky to have such a knowledgeable and kind captain guiding us through the islands. His lifelong experience sailing the area made us feel entirely comfortable and we trusted his every recommendation.
Our favorite island was Koufonisi, but the entire trip was absolutely amazing. Do not hesitate and book your charter with Greek Water Yachts. Relax and let them take you on a trip of a lifetime!

If you’re looking for a sign to book this trip- HERE IT IS! Absolute best trip of our lives!! We are a couple in our mid 30s and this is the second time we sailed with Greek Water Yachts. Antonis made everything absolutely perfect from beginning to end. He made it very clear in the beginning that there was to be no stress, and we took that very seriously! :) Even though the meltimi was very bad that week (strong Cyclades winds), Antonis still showed us a perfect time. He found the most remote anchorages with no wind at all and crystal blue & green waters. At this anchorage, he encouraged us to hike to the top of the nearby hill and watch the sunset, then had dinner ready for us when we returned!
When we did go into town at Amorgos, he had a car hired already for us (with a great discount with his connection), plus several recommendations about things to do and beaches to see.
This cruise is the best deal out there and you will see and eat so many wonderful things. We are very well traveled (I went to school in the UK), and this is the best vacation my husband and I have ever taken- much of that was due to the amazing skipper.
Book this, you won’t regret it for a second!

Our week sailing the southwest Cyclades with Nikos was absolutely amazing! Nikos made my dreams of a specific itinerary happen despite some weather challenges. We sailed, swam, snorkeled, paddleboarded, and explored. He tailored the trip to our preferences and constantly communicated the options/made recommendations. His quiet expertise, sense of humor, and hospitality is unmatched. It was an experience we will never forget!!

HI we will be arriving in Athens on the 19th and spending a few days there then onto the monsterries. We will leave the kalabaka on the 24th and want to spend the next five days with you and your team. We have not clue what this experience will be like but we want to. Sailing the islands is a bucketlist item for me. We have one scuba person. I get sea sick so theres that and I have never slept on a sail boat before. Bring a Bluetooth speaker and get a cosmote card. We played music all day long. You will enjoy the bluest waters. We were 3 on a monohull w 2 berths. It was fantastic. It’s not a hotel it’s a boat. If you want an off the grid getaway this is it.
