I had a great morning ride with our group through the Paros countryside, beach, and hills. Our guide Stellios was very accommodating and friendly, picking me up from the hotel and driving me back afterwards. He talked with the group throughout the ride, explaining life, farming, and vegetation here. You pass through farms with other horses, donkeys, dogs, and chickens, vineyards and olive tree orchards on your way to the sea, where you ride through the water. That was a unique and incredible experience, but overall the ride was pastoral, peaceful, and relaxing. You really get to see the rural part of Paros and its beautiful vistas. Afterwards we had coffee and lemon cake made by Stellios' wife, and chatted. Overall, I remember this morning maybe more than the visiting the beaches of Paros. Thank you Stellios and my kind horse, Margareta.

Absolutely loved this experience with my 3 older children. A really meditative and tranquil few hours that gave us all the space to slow down a bit and take in our surroundings. The butterfly location was beautiful and a nice place to sit and recap on our Greece adventure. Highly recommend.

Walking along the water front we noticed a sign advertising the Donkey Ride. Went up the street to the Bike Shop and booked our Donkey Trip for the next day. What a fabulous 3 hours of traveling on Donkey back through narrow streets and over the hills. One of the highlights of our trip to Greece. Authentic and guide was very good and had very well behaved Donkeys.
Highly recommended for anybody wishing to travel back in time when this was the means of transport. We loved it.

This ride Its definetly worth your money and time!! The view from the hills is stunning!! I got picked up by the men that run the show, the donkeys in my group were all in good health and yes your legs will be sore after 3 hours which is just the right length of time, l guess is the beauty of ride... The men use the stick to control or make the donkey move a bit faster, donkey can be a bit stubborn but l didn't see any violent of stick on them... I guess as always everyone have different opinions but l guaranty you will have an amazing time!! Try It!!!

Donkeys are not well treated. Some had open wounds on the belly and legs at the straps and are still obliged to go for walks. Scandalous !!

Our family of five enjoyed the donkey ride through the hills and narrow back roads to Butterfly Valley. Our guide took time and extra care to ensure my needs were met (I have physical limitations) and shared information about the area along the way. It was one of our most memorable experiences in Greece.

A truly Greek experience! The day started unexpectedly with the owner chasing two runaway donkeys (they were found later close to his place). It continued with splendid views of the island and a peaceful ride through narrow alleys. On our way we saw an old monastery (which unfortunately was closed in October). We could tell that the owner treated well its donkeys and was happy to share his insights into the island life. A very serene moment that is a break from our hectic everyday lives...

We picked up the brochure for this tour at our accommodation and contacted the provider same day. We had a prompt reply and was able to complete the late afternoon 2 hour tour. We loved this experience. It was relaxing riding through the countryside taking in views of the ocean and mountains. It gave us another unique experience on this beautiful island of Paros. The donkeys are well cared for and treated kindly throughout the tour.

I did the horse sunrise tour. Horses were not treated very well, they had to walk on extremely hard rocks and tiny roads. One horse fell on his knees
